From Nipple Malposition to Implant Malposition. WORST LIFE EXPERIENCE!

I had a deeply disappointing experience with Dr. Samuel Lin. I went thru hell after the surgery. I trusted him because of his Harvard credentials, but the outcome of my surgery left me emotionally and physically distressed.

First week after the surgery, one nipple was higher than the other and the implant was lower than the other side. I even pulled a suture out of my chest - I still experienced the pain right at this spot til now. I feel like I paid someone to tear me apart and put me in pain for months.

Dr. Lin didn't take time to explain the potential risks of choosing larger implants and reusing the same nipple incision. NOT AT ALL. I was unaware that this could result downward-facing nipples due to double scarring. I feel that as a medical professional, he should have guided me with more clarity rather than simply agreeing to my requests (going bigger and going thru same incision again) without explaining the long-term consequences. He offers me a reduced fee for another revision (which I would never trust him again) - I asked him on the phone about the possibility to reduce the internal scar and he said yes - then why didn't you try to do it for me at the first time?

I initially had a consultant in April. The surgery day was on November. They didn't even schedule me a pre-op appointment a week before the surgery. After the surgery, I emailed his office back and forth and it took so much time to hear back from him (mostly his staff were picking up the phone and didn't know for sure what to do). I found Dr. Lin email online and that's how I get to talk to him directly. Like no one fckng care about the patient before and after the surgery.

What’s worse, I wasn’t prescribed antibiotics after surgery and ended up in the ER due to intense pain. I expected more professionalism and compassion, especially from someone with such a prestigious background. They didn't even inform me there were residents during the surgery. I paid you $13K to fix my chest, not to teach at the same time. NO ONE EVEN TELL ME ABOUT THIS!

I’ve since consulted with other surgeons who pointed out multiple issues with the procedure I received. The new quote to fix what he did on my body costs from $20k-$40k. I regret putting my trust in Dr. Lin, and I’m sharing this in hopes that others will do thorough research and get multiple opinions before moving forward. You deserve a surgeon/team who truly listens, educates, and cares.

I'm sorry Dr. Lin I have to write this review but YOU TORTURED ME physically, mentally, emotionally and financially.
