Over the Moon with my Results
I have wanted a breast lift for YEARS, but I couldn't bring myself to do it for a myriad of reasons. Then there was the pandemic, and I thought, why not now? I would have plenty of down time for recovery. So, I started shopping around for a PS.
I googled breast lift with fat transfer online, and found Dr. Ben Brown of Restore Plastic Surgery. I loved the idea of having my fat repurposed to my breasts. I don't think anyone offers this in my area, and I gotta say-I'm so grateful to have found such a skillful surgeon nearby. To be honest, none of my friends were familiar with him (at first), and most of them have had experiences with other renowned surgeons in the area. Word of mouth is always reassuring, and I didn’t have that with him. However, based on my research, Dr. Brown specializes in very complicated surgeries, e.g. lymphedema and reconstructive breast surgeries. This man clearly loves what he does, and spends his days restoring confidence in these amazing breast cancer survivors. My gut told me if he can do all that, a lollipop breast lift with a fat transfer from the flanks would be easy peasy.
I have had the BEST experience with Dr. Brown and his staff from the very start of my journey. Initially, I was a wreck at the consultation (seriously, having my naked photos taken was way more frightening to me than the actual procedure), but he and his medical assistants were wonderful to me. They patiently answered all of my questions and Dr. Brown gave me realistic expectations. He’s a brilliant and kind physician, and I truly appreciate him.
My surgery was seamless. I checked into Baptist Hospital early in the morning. I had one last pre-op with Dr. Brown before going into surgery. I, surprisingly, didn’t feel all too nervous. I knew I was in good hands. Since I’m writing this review, I also need to give a shout out to all the nurses at Baptist Hospital. They were awesome! I went to sleep looking up at their friendly reassuring faces, and I woke up to perky swollen breasts. The first two days, post-op, were the worst. The lipo procedure was the most painful part of the whole healing process. But, none of the pain was unbearable and I managed it just fine with Tylenol. Other than that, recovery has been a breeze. Dr. Brown gave each breast 200cc’s. I am now 6 weeks post-op, and I feel that the fat retention is going well so far. I’ve had a couple questions along the way in regards to healing issues, but Sean always followed up with me and told me everything was normal. I am grateful for my follow up appointments. It’s comforting to know that if anything does go wrong, I’m not alone on this journey. Fortunately, this isn’t the case. My results go above and beyond my expectations. The shape of my breasts and areolae are beautiful and symmetrical, my waistline is nice and trim… and it accentuates my large booty. LOL He truly did a stellar job! I’m glad I waited as long as I did to get this procedure; I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to do it. My husband is super stoked too.:-) Put it this way, when my friends’ mouths fall agape to the floor after seeing my results, and they ask for my surgeons info—that speaks volumes.
