2nd Surgery With Dr. Chang

I’m scheduled for October 3 for arm lift and breast lift. Anyone going for surgery on or around that day, inbox me! I flew into Miami yesterday to meet with Dr. Chang to discuss a plan for surgery. I was early and didn’t wait long at all. Staff was very nice & helpful just like last time I was there. Everyone has been very sweet at Spectrum. So I had my consultation with Dr. Chang and as always, he’s awesome. I’m so happy and excited to have him as my surgeon for a second time. I feel safe in his hands and that’s what matters most to me. He will ask me over and over if I have more questions and whenever I do he answers them until I understand. He always keeps it real honest. He always overdelivers though. Love him!!!!!

OK!! It has been a LONG month for me. I had surgery on October 3 and it was tough. I had a breast lift with implants, arm lift, and bra line back lift with Dr. Chang. I was not worried going in because I’ve had surgery by Dr. Chang previously and he was amazing. I decided with Dr. Chang that silicone implants would be what’s best for my lift so we did those. I asked for small but I’m a tall girl with a larger frame and he said he would give me something to fit my body and I agreed. I trust him! So he marked me up which took fooorevvvver because it’s such a big surgery. I started getting nervous but I knew I was in good hands. Dr. Chang took his time with me right before surgery to make sure I understood everything and felt ok and that all my questions were answered. Jilka was there too and she’s really just the best. So sweet and caring. So it was time for surgery! I was scheduled for 9:30 I think I went in around 11:30 which isn’t bad considering it took like an hour for marking and stuff.
I really have began hating anesthesia because it makes me feel disgusting going down and coming out of it. Gabriel (the anesthesiologist) is awesome though!!! He’s really great and makes you as comfortable as possible. And to sleep I went....
Woke up felt disgusting and like I got ran over by a truck. Literally I was in pain. I think surgery took like 7 hrs maybe more honestly. I don’t know what time it was, where I was, what was going on but I was glad to be up. I asked for more time in recovery and that’s all I remember. Next thing you know I was in the car on my way back to the hotel and it was late!!!
I stayed in the car for a while with the heat blasting. I was so groggy.
I had to snap out of it I told my Hunny to pull me out of the car and let’s get inside. Everyone was starring at me in the hotel but whatever.
By the way, I stayed in the best western premier right behind Spectrum.
I had everything ready.. chux on a sofa chair with lots of pillows for my back, butt, and to elevate my arms. A neck pillow and something to put my feet up on. Took some Tylenol extra strength and had some liquids and took a quick nap maybe like an hour or 2.
After that, I was fine.

The swelling is ridiculous !!!!!! Completely ridiculous. I’ll also post more about my recovery!! And a gruesome operating room video. Beware!!!
