Such a good experience. I was nervous at first but I do not regret doing it! Not in much pain. Ribs and sternum are sore but all in all I’m feeling well!
Breast fed two babies back to back.
340cc on the right and 310cc on the left under the muscle.

How far post op are you? I had the same procedure a week ago and am not looking nearly as healed. That's why I ask. Thanks

One day post op! I would say I’m very far from healed and I was feeling super great in those pictures from being so fresh. I will post a couple more shortly. I am a lot more swollen and painful today.

What size bra were you before surgery? I'm scheduled for Aug 15 for a mommy makeover. I'm still undecided if I should just get a lift and no implant or get the implant. I'm a 36 DD now

I think it really depends how full you want your breasts to look- they prob won’t be bigger with a lift and small implants, just fuller looking.

I honestly had no clue what size I was before. Before I had my babies I was a very full 32 DDD. I never bought bras after having babies. I could still "fit" in them but my breasts were flat and sagged. I had little actual tissue besides skin. My Dr and I talked that if I did an implant without a lift I'd essentially have the look of four boobs because the extra sagging tissue wouldn't give me the full look. If I only did a lift I would be flat because there was minimal fat tissue to start with. In my experience with choosing a "size" I went through photos of implants with lifts and found ones that had the under shape I wanted and how much fullness I wanted on the top. From there it was more up to my Dr to say what size to go that would fit my frame and not be too wide or high. Just make sure you find a great Dr! They do have good judgement in what will fit and look best for you if like in my case I only wanted a fuller natural look similar to what I was before babies.

Still very happy with how they look and are holding up. Missed one dose of meds in the middle of the night which made today the worst so far with pain and have been trying to catch up on them. Lots of swelling between the breasts. About an inch and a half deep of swelling and is pretty firm.

Comparatively, the first couple days are actually way easier. I tried cutting out pain meds that were not Tylenol and that was a mistake. I generally try to be independent and tough things out on my own and this is not one of those situations to be stubborn with. Do what you are told and accept help gracefully, because it really is in your best interest for a healthy recovery. I let my swelling and discomfort get the best of me.

I had my procedure July 11. My post op appt is tomorrow. At this point the last week was a blur. I’m ready to feel normal again.

I soooo feel that. It's exhausting and feels like it's never going to end sometimes.
