WORTH IT
After puberty I was left with awful saggy and different sized breasts. They have always been my biggest hang up and I’ve been so conscious of them for as long as I can remember. Never being able to wear certain clothes it a swimming costume etc etc This isn’t something I have just dived into, it’s taken years of saving and mulling it over, making sure I had the right surgeon and support that puts me at ease was paramount. I did have a few consultations to get a feel for different clinics, surgeons and support within the process. When I met Verity at Harley Medical Group, I knew instantly The clinic was the Right one for me and Verity was someone I wanted to support me through my journey. She supported me in choosing the right surgeon for me also. I next met Mark Solomos and I just absolutely loved his personable approach and found him so professional and experienced and felt completely at ease. He asked me lots of questions to really understand what I wanted to achieve and how this could be done. He was very thorough. I really liked him and booked my op date in.

I was worried that once I was booked in -
And paid I wouldn’t hear from anyone but that wasn’t the case. I had all my pre ops and was offered another meet with the surgeon if I wanted but I didn’t need it as I was happy with everything.

I ended up having my surgery last week and had the most loveliest healthcare assistant and nurse Cesar at Highgate Hospital. All the staff including those who walked me to theatre and those in theatre getting me prepped were lovely, the whole process was very calm and relaxed. After surgery my nurse and HCA kept checking on me and Mr Solomos too came to see me to check all was ok. Before and after surgery pictures attached.

Here are the photos before surgery, mark up, immediately after surgery and the morning after when the swelling came out. Thankfully I didn’t really experience any pain apart from feeling tight and a little sore. The thing that affected me not was the second night after surgery and the third day, I was very tearful and felt a little panicked and sorry for myself. My sister called this a ‘dip day’ after surgery and because the anesthetic was coming out of my system. I’ve also been taking Arnica tablets which has really helped with the bruising. Today it’s day 5 and I feel myself and the bruising and soreness has settled down.

I had the same procedure just over a week ago too with Mark Solomos on the 23rd at Highgate!
I also felt really down, exactly how you have described, a couple of days after I thought I was the only one! Xx

Same here... nope I was right there with you... i hadn’t read anywhere about the ‘dip’ it’s only my sister had a hip op and was told it’s normal which made me feel better about it, so i thought I’d share as it’s the worst having a panic and feeling You might be alone.. I guess it’s a mix of meds and anesthetic. How are you getting on? Have you had your tape off?

Me neither I’d never heard of it and was so confused why I was feeling like that!
I’m good thanks, still very tight and uncomfortable at night I feel they swell as my bra feels a lot tighter and the sensation wakes me up through the night, but I had my tapes off but the nurse put some extra ones on which I’ll be having off on Thursday
How are you getting on?
March 4, 2019
Same mine are very tight particularly if I’m walking around for a longish period of time and also at night. I’m having the tapes off tomorrow. How comes you had more put on? Did you have the stitches out or is that on the second visit or are they dissolvable? I didn’t actually ask? Also Do you have one boob that is more uncomfortable than the other? How’s your nose healing too? :)

Tape change

Dynamic7248
Today i had my tapes changed. Only one week since surgery but all is healing well. Still very swollen and one nipple doesn’t have feeling and the other is ultra sensitive. Can start massaging them now to soften them up and help them drop into place. The photo looks a bit scary but I am really happy with the progress and it’s going to take time for everything to settle. My nipples look a little squiffy :D but i think this is because there is still significantly more swelling in one than the other.

They look so good, if you don’t mind me asking what was your cup size before surgery?
March 7, 2019

They look amazing. I am booked in with Mark next Friday the 15th March and can not wait x

Congratulations on your surgery, they look amazing! I had my surgery with Mark in early Jan, I'm almost by the week 8 mark. I think my breasts have healed well, 1 was definitely a bit more bruised and swollen than the other....so being a bit lopsided is normal lol! My breasts haven't dropped as yet, I'm not sure why or if it can be normal for it to not have happened as yet. But overall my incisions are precise and the scars are healing well. Mark really is such a great surgeon!

Saw your 7 week piccies, they’ve healed and settled down really well haven’t they? The incisions are perfect! Did you have any nipple
Numbness? Having tapes taken completely off on Saturday...
March 7, 2019
No numbness, but my implants haven't dropped as yet - so it' still like wearing a constant push-up bra. And bra's don't fit yet as they are not in shape yet. Try looking for similar cases of ladies having nipple numbness and see what their outcome was.
March 7, 2019
Good idea... Mr Solomos did tell me at the consultation that you can get heightened feeling or numbness in the nipples with this surgery. I’ll ask around :)
