Week 7

I've been banging on about my breasts not dropping, but I've been thinking about it and I don't think I'm even sure about how much they will drop or what it will look like. I'm assuming that by dropping, the implant will only drop a little so that it doesn't sag, but that my nipple is positioned more upward. I'm actually not sure now, my husband said this morning that actually it shouldn't drop as it has the 'push-up' bra effect at the moment and if it does, I'll need to wear a bra. My left breast also seems slightly bigger than the right...that's also the breast that was more swollen to start off with. So I don't think I noticed this before - I hope that they will still even out, but when I look in the mirror or in cloths, they don't feel different...Only in photo's I suppose :)
Does anyone have any advice or knowledge about what I should expect when my breasts 'drop'?

Week 4 & 5

Not much to update really, they are healing really well. I ended up cutting the stitch out...tugging on the thing didn't work. The hole closed really quickly thereafter though, but the scab is still there. Looking at the Week 4 and 5 photo's, they look exactly the same and don't seem to have dropped much between the weeks at all. Next week Friday (22 Feb) will be 6 weeks since my surgery - I have a feeling they won't have dropped by then either. I'm really excited for being able to sleep normally (instead of on my back) and not having to wear my compression bra after Friday, but if my breast haven't dropped, then a normal bra won't really fit...so might still need to wear it. Although, nothing can beat a more comfortable sleeping position!

Week 3

I'm really happy with my progress, I think I'm healing really well. The only thing is that I have 1 stitch on the left breast that is exposed, not sure why. But I've checked with the clinic and they said it's fine and eventually I can just give it a little tug and it will come out....not sure how I feel about that as I'm a bit squeamish. My left breast is also still larger and more swollen than the right...my right breast is my favourite. I hope they will drop soon, they are still quite high on my chest.
