Breast Lift and Augmentation with Liposuction to Axillary Folds and Lateral Chest

Let me start off by saying I’m 48 years old and I lost 83lbs from my highest weight through bariatric surgery (gastric sleeve on 10/21/20). I have flattening and sagging of breasts. Regardless of whether weight has been lost due to diet, exercise or bariatric surgery, dramatic weight loss can have an impact on the size of breasts. Bariatric surgery especially can cause significant flattening and sagging since fat is lost suddenly.
The stigma surrounding plastic surgery is outdated, beauty standards have changed over time and more people are getting plastic surgery than ever before but people don’t talk about them. The reality is, everyone’s life experience is unique and how we feel about ourselves and how we look is important.Although I was a C cup prior to surgery, I decided to have them augmented at the same time as the lift for added fullness to give them a natural and rejuvenated appearance. I chose 345cc gummy bear soft touch implants. The areola’s were reshaped to be proportionate and I also had liposuction to axillary rolls (armpit rolls) and to lateral chest (side boob) to enhance the overall breast appearance.I’m so darn excited for this next phase of my transformation journey! I had the surgery yesterday, these photos are my before pics.

My breast lift and augmentation with liposuction to axillary folds and lateral chest was on 2/9/22! The surgery went well and I was in Dr Layliev’s office from 12:30 until about 6pm. When I woke from anesthesia, I felt like I was being rushed out the door and Dr Layliev was not present to talk to me nor did he call my husband when the surgery was complete. I received a text message from Dr Layliev at 9;40pm that evening checking in on me, but it seemed to be an automated message because I didn’t get a response back. Later in the evening,, I was leaking a lot from the liposuction areas. The pain meds were helpful to get me through the night.

I was leaking / oozing a lot on 1 day post op from the liposuction areas. I called Dr Layliev’s office in the morning and spoke to nurse Emily.about my concerns/questions. She wasn’t very thorough, comforting or empathetic when answering my questions and concerns, I realize she sees this almost everyday, but its not an everyday situation for patients. Today I was able to walk 8,000 steps and did take pain meds every 6 hours. The leaking / oozing of blood from liposuction areas slowed down by the evening.
