Beware MONEY is Theirs Only Concern.

I originally scheduled my appointment for a consultation about a week ago due to the amount of good reviews I had seen online for this practice. But I have never encountered such poor customer service in my life by a medical facility. Having worked in the medical field for the past 8 years I think I have a good idea of how offices work. I decided to go with another surgeon for my procedure and called this office to cancel my consultation. (2 weeks out) Picking the right surgeon is vital for a life changing procedure. Keep in mind, I paid a $75 consultation fee to schedule. I was told by Brianna that this fee would go towards my procedure if I decided to move forward with this practice. No problem at all, right? Wrong. I come to find out while cancelling this appointment that the $75 is a NON REFUNDABLE fee, no exceptions. I asked to speak with the manger and when I explained to him (Chris) that It was never disclosed to me this was a non refundable fee, he was condescending and told me “it is your due diligence to know office procedures”. Actually, no. This policy should be WRITTEN on the receipt, on your website and VERBALLY communicated at the time of scheduling. SERVICES WERE NOT RENDERED. Chris was adamant that his staff told me their policy, and I even asked for the phone call to be pulled to prove it wasn’t. He brushed that comment off. Asking for a refund is 100% acceptable. Especially giving ample notice of cancellation. We are in the midst of a global pandemic and for this practice, especially the office manger Chris to have zero compassion and flexibility is mind boggling. He told me that this office was in HIGH DEMAND, if that’s the case, then why are you stealing my money when I gave you 2 weeks notice to fill this appointment slot. I have filed a dispute of fraud for this charge with my bank due to SERVICES NOT BEING RENDERED. I will not allow a practice to take my money when no consent forms were signed and no disclosures were given for this fee to be non-refundable. BEWARE of Florida Plastic Surgery Group if you are considering them. At the end of the day, this is only a business out for money with low morals financially. Treating prospective patients in this manner is unacceptable. To the owner of the practice, I highly recommend you sign your office manger Chris and staff up with a training course on customer service, otherwise you’re setting yourself up for failure with the staff you keep.
