4.5 months post lift
I look back on my original books, my 1st augmentation (done by a different calgary surgeon) and then my lift my Dr Campbell and what a journey! the lift has changed my world! My breasts have soften quite a bit and feel more natural. The right has teethering fromnscsr tissue which Dr Campbell is correcting this Friday. The scars are flush with the skin and a little pinkish. They'll fade with time. Don't regret the lift at all but I did underestimated the healing time.
3 weeks post op (breast lift)
3 weeks post op lift & areola reduction. No pain, been to 2 follow up appts and they're looking good. Today all the tapes came off and the scars are healing better than I expected. I am still numb in the nipples but I know feeling will come back in time. Applying silicone scar gel and am instructed to do massage. Im pretty happy with the results. Trying not to focus on the flat underboob because I want to see instant results lol - still have to wear support bra for 3 more weeks. I am cleared to return to gym for lower body only.
Breast Lift & Pocket Revision & Animation Deformity Corrected
untitled-prod-video-299881-id-65114
After having a breast augmentation by a different surgeon (and revision to correct animation deformity in both breasts, only to have wasted my money on having the same surgeon try to correct his mistakes and actually make my breast look worse) I consulted with Dr Campbell ( once before my revision and again after my revision). I wish I could give Dr Campbell a 10 star rating because he really is THAT good. In my consult he sat with me for almost 2 hours, answering my questions, explaining my options and outcome expectations etc.
Not once did I feel rushed or like a $ sign. He treats you like a person. Every time I've seen him throughout this process, he is the same. I decided to get a lift as my breasts were unshapely and had terrible tethering in the right side (animation deformity) every time I move my arm. My original surgeon said he didn't know a single surgeon who could fix that & that some women just respond that way to implants. Dr Campbell fixed it. *Louder for the people in the back!* Dr. Earl Campbell FIXED it and he also revised my pockets to bring the breast closer together as the had lateral displacement.Again, my original surgeon said my breast are just wide and nothing can be done) and with the lift (previous surgeon said I didn't need one... he was wrong), and Dr Campbell reduced my areola and now I have the breast I thought I was going to get when I had my original implant surgery. I could've saved $14000 if I had gone with Campbell in the 1st place. Hard lesson learned, but that is why I'm writing this review. Please, don't waste your time anywhere else, Dr Campbell is incredibly skilled and he's incredibly kind - a quiet confidence (not arrogance).
So, Aug 30th I had my surgery. It was painful for a few days (my body did not like the percocets and I felt nauseated - I also had T3's but again, not built for pain meds) however, every day thereafter I noticed less pain and today I feel pretty good. I am wearing a supportive bra (Campbell says I can also wear a sports bra) for 6 weeks specifically for the pocket revision to heal and not risk the implants moving out of place. My boobs look so good, I don’t mind the 6 weeks at all lol.
The incisions were going to be anchor but I didn't have enough loose skin underneath so it ended up being lollipop. They are healing nicely. I went in for follow up last Tuesday and Campbell changed my tapes. He said when they fall off, start applying the scar treatment. They were flat on the bottom after the lift and a little rippling around the areola but already by day 11 they are starting to round out and settle in.
This will continue for the next few weeks to couple months. I've been taking it easy no gym but will be going back this weekend for just light lower body that doesn't involve my chest. I can sleep on my side now, supported by pillows. Still not lifting over 5lbs. I have another follow up in a couple weeks . I'll keep you posted.
