Dr. Campbell is an incredible surgeon who really cares. Four weeks ago I had an abdominoplasty and am already blown away with the results. Even with some post op swelling I already look and feel amazing. Dr. Campbell really listens to his client’s concerns and addresses them in such a comforting way. His staff are incredibly friendly and the nurses (both Becky and Elaine) have been so supportive answering my MANY calls with questions and concerns both pre and post op. Thank you Dr. Campbell for giving me my strength and confidence back and thank you to your amazing staff who have guided me throughout this process!!!! I couldn’t recommend this team enough!!!!
I have spent nearly my entire life self conscious of my stomach. It’s genetic on both sides of my family to carry weight predominantly in the mid-section of my body. After also having had twins that I carried to 36 weeks who were both nearly 7lbs, there was nothing I could do to get my body 1) back to ‘normal’ and 2) in the shape I have always hoped I would be in my 40s. I decided it was time to get help and started to book consultations. Dr. Campbell was my 3rd consult and it was a very easy decision after meeting him. His experience and expertise is easily confirmed just by looking through his web profiles and the other reviews but meeting him in person is what really gave me the certainty I had found the right doctor. He is kind, genuine, science-based in his approach (should there be any other?) and exemplified everything I had read about being a master plastic surgeon. Within seconds of seeing what I had described as my problem area, he knew exactly what I meant and how to help me. Obviously he has done tons of these procedures but he just had a way of looking at this as a problem to be solved with precision and craft and I felt like I was in such good hands. That feeling just cannot be underestimated when it comes to a decision like this. You have to feel that or else it is just not going to be the right path. I am 4 weeks post-op. Before (left) in this photo was about a month before the surgery. The after shot is exactly 4 weeks and 4 days. I’m still recovering and have tons of swelling but still you can see what an incredible job Dr Campbell did. He really listened to what I was hoping to achieve and, combining that with a strong understanding of the female aesthetic, targeted all of the areas of concern perfectly. He’s really gifted in his trade, both in his skill and his care. Cannot go wrong with this doctor.
Dr Campbell is an amazing artist. I swear he has the best stitching in Calgary. I have a line not really a scar. Up close my other doctors didn't even notice I had a tummy tuck. So happy with my belly button and lack of scar. I will be going back for a breast lift for sure. Also loved his no pressure approach. I said I was nervous and he said I could re book. He took away my stress and I booked In right away. So greatful I chose him. I saw another girls belly button from a surgery he performed and decided he was my doctor. Love my belly button
After having a breast augmentation by a different surgeon (and revision to correct animation deformity in both breasts, only to have wasted my money on having the same surgeon try to correct his mistakes and actually make my breast look worse) I consulted with Dr Campbell ( once before my revision and again after my revision). I wish I could give Dr Campbell a 10 star rating because he really is THAT good. In my consult he sat with me for almost 2 hours, answering my questions, explaining my options and outcome expectations etc.Not once did I feel rushed or like a $ sign. He treats you like a person. Every time I've seen him throughout this process, he is the same. I decided to get a lift as my breasts were unshapely and had terrible tethering in the right side (animation deformity) every time I move my arm. My original surgeon said he didn't know a single surgeon who could fix that & that some women just respond that way to implants. Dr Campbell fixed it. *Louder for the people in the back!* Dr. Earl Campbell FIXED it and he also revised my pockets to bring the breast closer together as the had lateral displacement.Again, my original surgeon said my breast are just wide and nothing can be done) and with the lift (previous surgeon said I didn't need one... he was wrong), and Dr Campbell reduced my areola and now I have the breast I thought I was going to get when I had my original implant surgery. I could've saved $14000 if I had gone with Campbell in the 1st place. Hard lesson learned, but that is why I'm writing this review. Please, don't waste your time anywhere else, Dr Campbell is incredibly skilled and he's incredibly kind - a quiet confidence (not arrogance). So, Aug 30th I had my surgery. It was painful for a few days (my body did not like the percocets and I felt nauseated - I also had T3's but again, not built for pain meds) however, every day thereafter I noticed less pain and today I feel pretty good. I am wearing a supportive bra (Campbell says I can also wear a sports bra) for 6 weeks specifically for the pocket revision to heal and not risk the implants moving out of place. My boobs look so good, I don’t mind the 6 weeks at all lol.The incisions were going to be anchor but I didn't have enough loose skin underneath so it ended up being lollipop. They are healing nicely. I went in for follow up last Tuesday and Campbell changed my tapes. He said when they fall off, start applying the scar treatment. They were flat on the bottom after the lift and a little rippling around the areola but already by day 11 they are starting to round out and settle in.This will continue for the next few weeks to couple months. I've been taking it easy no gym but will be going back this weekend for just light lower body that doesn't involve my chest. I can sleep on my side now, supported by pillows. Still not lifting over 5lbs. I have another follow up in a couple weeks . I'll keep you posted. Updated on 21 Sep 2021: 3 weeks post op lift & areola reduction. No pain, been to 2 follow up appts and they're looking good. Today all the tapes came off and the scars are healing better than I expected. I am still numb in the nipples but I know feeling will come back in time. Applying silicone scar gel and am instructed to do massage. Im pretty happy with the results. Trying not to focus on the flat underboob because I want to see instant results lol - still have to wear support bra for 3 more weeks. I am cleared to return to gym for lower body only. Updated on 12 Jan 2022: I look back on my original books, my 1st augmentation (done by a different calgary surgeon) and then my lift my Dr Campbell and what a journey! the lift has changed my world! My breasts have soften quite a bit and feel more natural. The right has teethering fromnscsr tissue which Dr Campbell is correcting this Friday. The scars are flush with the skin and a little pinkish. They'll fade with time. Don't regret the lift at all but I did underestimated the healing time.
I had a breast augmentation 3.5 years ago and finally wanted to write a review! Dr.Campbell was the perfect choice for me and what I was looking for. He was open to hearing my desires and also took the time to fully explain the process answering all of my questions and concerns about the surgery. Once I committed everything was so easy going. His bedside manners are amazing and he has a calm cool and collected way of behaving. I think his personality is what sold me. He could sit back and laugh with me when it was appropriate and balanced perfectly with his sophistication and professional confidence. I received 750 cc under the muscle. I'm 5'9 and 135lbs. Some girls claim Canadian doctors are quite reserved or pushy about the size of implants but I never felt that with Campbell at all. He let me take home some sizes to try and I was shocked to see my frame would need 750cc to be the 34e/f cup I wanted. I received exactly what I wanted and 3.5 years later I can say the girls are still resting perfectly. Campbell allowed me to make my own decision on what I wanted my breasts to appear. He guided me and advised me about the under/over the muscle options and also the height profile. I went under the muscle with a medium profile for a full natural look. I can wear a t-shirt and nobody would know I have implants but when I want to show off the girls I absolutely can. Most people can't tell they are fake but ask because they are just too good to be true! As for my scars my incisions are literally one inch in length and hardly noticeable because he cut right on the fold to ensure optimal results. For me it took about 6 months to heal. It was lengthy and hard work but looking back it was well worth it. Zero complications just had tight skin to begin with and maybe I'm a bit of a cry baby lol bit everyone heals different. I think if I was more active throughout the process it would of healed faster. Also I'm a smoker and a drinker which can slow the process of healing. I'm now considering a mommy makeover. I have no showed 2 consultations because I'm fearful lol bit when I finally come around I will most definitely return to see Campbell. He is in my opinion the best doctor in calgary. He really gives his time to his patients to make sure the feel relaxed I never once felt rushed during the pre or post op. Also wanted to mention Joanne. Not sure if she is still there but she was great. She was my go to after surgery and I spent probably a good couple hrs over the phone with her. Night and day. She was there to reassure me that everything was OK. I received a personal cell number I could contact at any time. And I did. A few times in the beginning mainly out of fear that something wasn't feeling right. She has a very important role along side Dr Campbell. She was the support and zen therapist with a quirky sense of self. She is a bold woman no doubt and has a strong personality too boot. But she is also very knowledgeable about her role and I vibed with her on what felt like a good friend. She's not stuck up and too good to spend her time with you. I could tell she really has invested alot of her life into her work and has a passion for it. Some reviews mentioned that she was unprofessional but I found that to be the best part about her. It's nice to have a human being along side you while you go under the knife rather than a body that is just there to fill the duties of a job. She has experience with Campbell and a long standing relationship that seemed to be genuine and with pure intention. She also helped me answer a bunch of questions and I'm sure I overstayed every appointment I had which they were very understanding of. This review is random and not a good copy so I'm blabbing on but I needed to thank Dr.campbell and give him and his amazing staff credit where it's due! If you are reading this and y0u have had a procedure done and haven't left a review yet you totally should! I remember when I was researching I trolled the reviews on real self and YouTube etc for months! Sooo leave a comment so more people can see what an amazing doctor he is!
I had a lower blepharoplasty with extra skin removed and fat repositioning under eye. I'm so thankful for Dr Campbell's reccomendations and skill. I trusted him fully with what he thought he should do to eliminate my under eye bags. His wonderful bedside manner and his passion for helping people look their best made for a great experience from start to finish. He took 10 years of age off my face. I no longer look tired all the time! I could not reccomend him more! Many many many thanks to you Dr. Campbell. Jessica Read Updated on 23 Jan 2021: Here's one of two slides shows I made showing my healing progress. This includes photos from before surgery and the days after surgery. Hope this helps anyone who is considering this surgery! I had general anesthesia and the surgery was 2.5 hours long. I had no problem recovering from the anesthesia. It was my first time being put under as well.
2 weeks on the dot, after having a revised fleur de lis tummy tuck, I had a brachioplasty and a bra line back lift. At 29 years old, I went for the same surgeon for my 3 cosmetic procedures. He is amazing and I can. Ever recommend his work enough to anyone in the Calgary or in Alberta area!
After more than 3 and a half years, I decided to go back to my plastic surgeon. I knew I wanted to have a brachioplasty done as well as lipo of my back and a back lift. But I was also a little concern with the upper part of my abdomen. I had some lingering extra skin in that area, even after my first tummy tuck. So we discussed and I decided to undergo 2 different surgeries at 2 weeks interval. On April 1rst 2019, I had a fleur de lis tummy tuck and liposuction done. I could have cried the second day when I went back to have my wounds looked at and see how tiny my waist was ! I was shocked and so happy! My recovery has been really great. I've been Taking my pain meds as needed. The pain was at his worst on day 1 and 2 but really went down by day 3 and 4. I have been sleeping in a reclining chair. On day 12, I pulled my JP drains out, by myself. It went smoothly and painlessly. Today is day 13 and I am getting ready mentally for my second round of surgery on the 15th! Updated on 22 Apr 2019: I've had a little bit of my lower scar open up and had seroma leaking out by it. Nothing to worry about, been on antibiotics preventively. I have faith it will heal nicely itself. I am so happy of my results so far, even if I'm in swell hell.
Dr Campbell is extremely professional and very precise with the needle. I see him yearly for Belotero injections under my eyes. He is a perfectionist! Highly recommend...especially if you’re a first time patient. His consults are free of charge and he never pressures you into a decision. Very happy with my results and his expertise.
56 yr old female. Tummy Tuck & Liposuction. I had these procedures done two years ago. Dr. Campbell did a great job, and is a caring physician. The nursing and office staff follow his example and are great people as well. I was never misled with regard to the procedures, the healing process or the outcome I could expect. In fact, the outcome far exceded my expectations and I am very happy with my results. I am from outside of the city and the staff did everything they could to accommodate my travel time and schedule for appointments.
