46 yo, never had children. When I went off birth control, my breasts went from 34DD down to a 34C and all I was left with was excess skin and a lot of annoyance. I considered a breast reduction when I was a 34DD because I didn’t like having a large chest but once they shrank on their own, they were even worse. For a long time I thought only implants were the solution but in 2022 I started to research seriously and found breast lift as an option.
I met with Dr Jan and he assured me I could get the lift I wanted while keeping what size I had left to keep my body proportions because a 34C is a good size for me. I really didn’t want to invest in new clothes or bras by having my size go down.
I had my surgery August 1 and the surgery was a huge success. I still fit all of my clothing and bras but instead of spilling over the edge of bra cups, I fill them out perfectly. I actually can’t get over how nice they look now!! There is no sagging…they stand up on their own, all without implants!
Dr Jan was awesome! He is the kindest doctor I have ever met and he made sure I was comfortable before the surgery and during each followup visit. He took the time to explain exactly what he would do and what to expect. He did an incredible job with the suturing and my scars are healing nicely. I look exactly like he said I would.
In my last visit with him, he showed me my Before photos and it was astonishing to see the difference.
Yes, the surgery is a big step and the first week was a lot of swelling. Everything felt tight and I could only lift my arms up so far. Two weeks off of work was a must. The compression bra made all the difference when I returned to work since I had to be upright 10+ hours per day.
I began working out lightly after one month with walking, slowly increased to short runs, while at the same time did very light weightlifting as my range of motion increased as the sutures near my underarms healed.
Today I am 11.5 weeks post surgery and I can fully do all prior exercises. I lost no sensation in my nipples due to Dr Jan’s careful avoidance of my nerves, and I fit cute tops that I was never able to wear before.

The cost was a combination of the doctor’s charge as well as the anesthesiologist plus operating room.
