40 Y/o Tuberous Breast Correction W/o Implants

I have been uneasy about my tuberous breasts since the time they developed at puberty. I have been researching for years on getting a correction and was lucky enough to find one of the best surgeons in the country for this surgery right in the town where I live. I have had 2 consultations with Dr. Seaberg and was able to come to the conclusion that I wanted to get a correction without implants based on my lifestyle and aesthetic goals. I am very active and lift weights and do lots of pushups and worried that implants may be an issue. I also am pretty happy with my cup size even though it is small. I didn’t want to risk breast implant illness and didn’t want to worry about the maintenance of changing implants after recommended expiration. I decided I would move forward with the tuberous correction with lift. Dr Seaberg was very patient and answered all my questions. He spent an entire hour on each consult. I was very pleased with his thorough description of what I could expect out of the surgery. He is going to use a circle lift( donut lift) technique so I will only have scarring around the perimeter of the areoles. I may decide to undergo a breast fat transfer in the future if I want more volume after healed. My surgery is scheduled for 10-9-20. Will keep you updated!

Went in for surgery this morning. The nurses( Especially Rachel and Tyson) were so nice and helpful!! Everything went so great! I am home now and not having any pain. It’s a slight burning sensation on my chest but not pain. I have a post op appointment in 5 days. Can’t wait to see the results without the bondages!! Will post more later:-)

My recovery is continuing to go well. I did take one pain pill when I arrived home the evening after surgery. But haven’t felt I needed any after that. I am still having some burning and stinging sensations, but am taking arnica and cbd oil to help with it. I am also taking a supplement called heal fast to help aid wound healing. I am having a little trouble adjusting to sleeping On my back. with my wedge pillow that keeps me slightly elevated I am a side sleeper so that is a minor adjustment. I will not be able to see what my breasts look like till Dr Seaberg changes the bandages on Wednesday .
