Saline breast implant replacement with Ideal implants, pocket revision and Strattice mesh

Fit & lean 40 YOA, 5’3”, 112lbs, thin skin and breastfed 3 children. Had saline breast implants done by Dr Colgrove 14 years ago with great results. I had invisible scars around my nipples and my original implants held up great. I wore bras 24/7 and took a lot of care with my breast during breastfeeding in the hopes that I could avoid a lift when they needed to be replaced. Well, the day finally came when my skin was too thin and the ripples in my implants were to visible to ignore anymore. My first and only call was to Dr Colgrove for replacement and repair because I wouldn’t trust anyone else with this procedure.

This Friday will be 3 weeks and I can tell you that getting the mesh is no joke. I still have pain and pressure in my chest. I have not worked out and couldn’t if I wanted to. Still sleeping on my back ~ elevated and having to take it easy which is really hard with 3 small children. My breast look amazing though and I don’t want them to change except to soften a little. My Ideal implants are filled to the max and have a great shape. I can still feel the ripples on the implant with my finger but so far they are not noticeable when you look at them. I have a couple of uneven spots where the mesh is but those should even out as time goes by. I’m not suppose to massage anything and I was told my breast should not move much which is great because he placed them perfectly and I don’t wan them to move.
