Breast Lift with implants
jessiee422February 20, 2021
WORTH IT
I first had a breast augmentation with Dr. Freund in 2004; saline, under the muscle and through the areola. Absolutely loved the results and never had an issue! I finally replaced my saline implants along with a lift (his teardrop augmentation mastopexy procedure also reducing the size of my areolas) on Feb 10th of this year and everything is going great so far. While I'm still in the beginning phase of healing the size and shape are perfect! Both procedures were rather uncomfortable but nothing that wasn't well managed by pain meds and rest. Dr Freund has such a comforting, confident and straightforward personality. He is only going to do what is best for the patient and is very honest and realistic which I appreciate.I also received tear trough fillers from him for the first time in September and they still look amazing. No issues at all. His office manager Aimee is still with him since my first procedure over 16 years ago and she is the best. Kind and always super helpful. You never feel rushed or like you are bothering anyone. He also performed a full mommy makeover on my mother a few years back and breast augmentations on two of my friends. I love his work and trust him and his staff completely!

would love to see a photo specifically of the lift!

Hi. I'm not too comfortable with uploading pics online but my results are very similar to photos of this procedure he has on site. Great shape and symmetry. :)
My areola scar from last time was hardly noticeable. I'm anticipating the same this time as well as I'm healing nicely.

thanks so much for replying! was the lift done with just an areolar scar a good amount of elevation or was your saggining minimal? thanks about the scar info thats my biggest concern. was there alot of puckering around nipple after lift?

Hi. No prob!
Just areola for me based on my sag and breast shape. I didn't ask for the technique when I went back. I was just checking on old implants so it was all his decision based on my shape and how it changed over the years etc. I didn't see my sagging as being that bad.
I have some puckering but it's not bad and I'm not quite two weeks post op yet. I can't say for sure I would even notice puckering if I wasn't made aware of it ahead of time. Does that make sense?
I'm still all bruised up and a while from final results. Right now I love the shape, areolas reduced to a nice size, both are even and I'm healing nicely. Kind of gauging it as I go along. :)
My mom had the anchor one done as part of full mommy make over (also with Dr Freund) and her scars are hardly noticeable 3 years later but as I understand it, it all depends on how your skin heals. She had a full mommy makeover and only took Tylenol for pain where as I needed all my pain meds! Lol! Crazy how different everyone responds.

3 week update
jessiee422March 5, 2021
I had my 3 week check up today and this week was a turning point in recovery. Pain is all gone, all the puckering has released except one spot on one areola, bruising almost gone, the scars are going to be hardly noticeable because they are super thin and they are starting to feel like my own again. Plus I got permission for low impact exercising (no upper body). Next visit in 3 weeks. :)
The first week was all about pain management, week 2 was a little emotional for me. I think coming off of the meds effected me a bit but this week I am so so happy!!

5 months post op

I am 5 months post op and it feels like surgery never happened! It was a bit of an intense recovery for me but I got the all clear to go back to all normal activity after 7 weeks. I took it easy at first because I do some rigorous workouts but no issues or limitations since then.
All of the puckering is smoothed out and the scar line around the areola is super thin and even. The shape is perfect. I even like the shape better than the first time! I go for my final photos in 2 weeks. :)
