1 Month Until Surgery

WORTH IT$6,375
I have always considered getting a breast augmentation but I didn’t start doing research or seriously considering it until around January. I found 5 doctors in the Dallas area and called to get their consultation and surgery pricing and then narrowed it down to 3. A couple of things I took into consideration when narrowing down my list was one of the doctors charged for consultations and one doctor was almost $3,000 more expensive. I booked consultations with the remaining 3 doctors but after my first consult I felt so confident and comfortable in the doctor that I decided to go with him and booked my surgery a couple of days later. I am financing the surgery and the sizing we decided on was 300 cc’s for my left breast and 275 cc’s for my right breast. My Pre-Op appointment is two weeks before my surgery. I’m going for a natural and proportional look.

Pre-Op

Here is my before photo! I am 24 years old, 5’9, 118 lbs., no kids and currently wear a 32A. We are planning on doing Mentor 300 cc (L) 275 cc (R) moderate profile, under the muscle. I had my pre-op appointment this week and was given my (5) prescriptions as well as told to get Hibiclens cleanser. I have got most of the things I will need post-op and I also plan on getting a pregnancy/body pillow. I signed a ton of paperwork and was told how to show up the day of surgery and how I will need to sleep for at least 6 weeks after. They also took my before photos. I don’t think I’m nervous yet but I’m constantly thinking about it. I just want the day to be here already!

Surgery Day!

Today I had my surgery! I woke up around 7:30, took my meds, showered and put on my comfy clothes. I had to arrive at 8:30 for my 9:30 surgery. Once I got there I changed into my robe and then when it was time they came and got me and I passed out a couple seconds after the anesthesia. My surgeon and anesthesiologist were great leading up to the surgery. I didn’t see my doc after but I go back tomorrow to get the bandage off and will be able to see what they look like! My doctor ended up doing Mentor MemoryGel Smooth Round Moderate Plus Profile 300 cc in my right breast and Smooth Round Moderate Classic Profile 255 cc in my left breast. I haven’t really had much pain today, I slept a lot and was starving when I got home. Luckily I had no nausea but I cried when they woke me up - which was expected lol for some reason that’s how I react to anesthesia. I have a pregnancy body pillow I bought so I hope that continues to help me sleep through the night. I can’t wait to see them tomorrow!
