ORIGINAL POST
Symmastia Repair

first BA was in 9/2007 - was to correct my insecurities of my heart surgery scar I have . ASD repair when I was 5. Left a scar - that looked like a smilie face with my nipples (no boobs) and scar. Shortly after first BA - I noticed my implants could move and touch each other and I Had a hinder looking cleavage with skin that pulled away from my chest wall. This was about 2 months post op. I was told this was symmastia and I would need to have another surgery and could schedule in 6 months. not having the vacation, funds or real desire to endure the pain again post poned. I since got married, had 2 children and here i am. Finally in a position to get it corrected. I had 6 different consultations for who to pick to for the correction. I choose Dr Colque. His RN was super nice and the doctor was interested in what my thoughts were and what I wanted corrected. He was very good at listening and had a very calming demeanor. You could tell his wheels where turning and he really takes into account YOU as a person. I had my surgery on Thursday. I am almost 1 week out and am super happy with the outcome thus far. The pain has been minimal. I am wearing my surgical bra and my thong bra still with limited lifting and arm movements but am back to work. I went from 450 CC - to 485 CC with symmastia correction. I basically told him I was happy with my size but if the correction required bigger or smaller implants I would be fine with it. I just wanted to finally have normal cleavage and normal looking breast. super excited to see once the stitches are all gone and and i take off thong bra! I will upload before and after pictures shortly! Highly recommend!

Beautiful work by your surgeon! You have clear, defined space between your boobs again! You must be thrilled! I need a revision for the same and I’m hoping to be able to afford it soon! Thank you so much for updating with photos. It’s very helpful! Please keep us posted on your progress! And congrats! Xo!

Wow ! You are so lucky! I had 6 surgeries to fix my symastia and none were successful. I have lost hope. What is your surgeon name please ?

DR. ALEX COLQUE, WI - it doesn't look as good as it did back at 8 weeks..but when they are not being pushed up, there is still seperation! Good luck.

That is not far from where I live at all. What type of technique did he do? I am going through symmastia right now.
