Horrific results - nothing at all close to what I expressed

This doctor claims to specialize in corrective breast enhancement surgery on his website and also on information he has sent to me via email/in person. He quoted me a much higher then average price to correct the previous breast work that I had done a few years back. He ensured me that he would be able to clear up my scarring around areolas from last surgery, provide me with lift with his own "internal bra" technique he invented as well as do a lift under the muscle to help address my sagging, seperate the implants to address the synmastia, make them more full on the top and to go up to larger sized implants. On the paperwork I signed, it doesn't state that its supposed to be under the muscle but verbally that was what we agreed upon. I also sent him photos of what I wanted to achieve of previous patients he has provided service's for.
My outcome is nothing at all close to what I expressed and showed him what I wanted aside from seperating the breasts. I wore a bra for 4 months straight only taking it off to take a shower and not even 6 months later and I have sagging already. The shape is not full. My nipples are pointing downward and one breast is larger then the other. The scarring is actually WORSE then it was to begin with. I believe that due to his lack of better judgement, was the reason my one suture tore open resulting in a horrible scar. He failed to even address it as a concern when I sent him photos.
Eventually after pressing him on the issue and demanding him to address my concern, he replied "the horse is out of the barn" via email to express the fact that my sutures were tearing open and he also referred via email to my breast " looking angry ". Very unprofessional terminology from a doctor charging just shy of $20,000 for these procedures. He told me 2 out of every 3 procedures he performs are corrective breast surgeries. He as a medical professional should have been aware that placing 1000cc implants on each breast over the muscle instead of under was going to clearly result in sagging which I expressed as a concern from the beginning, so I don't understand why he performed the service unless it was simply to swindle me.
He told me we could do a scar revision because of this incident with the sutures tearing, which when I recently messaged him about this, he told me we can do that but it would not be for free.... however, he would provide me with a discount since I am a "previous patient" (6 months postop at this point because he told me we couldn't do anything until it was atleast 6 months after surgery to correct any issues). It was his fault why this occured in the first place. I do believe that he was rushing through my procedure since he already collected his money, the right side went in without struggle would be my assumption, the left side didn't want to take that many CCs and he forced it in to save on time (he did tell me it BARELY fit and that he really had to work it in) and thats why the sutures bursted open. Surgerons should have to stand behind their work, especially overcharging the way he did and he should recognize he did horrible work and it was nothing close to what I asked for.
Also I would like to note, that he barely provided me with any aftercare instructions. They basically were very minimal and did not elaborate on any specifications. I asked him about massaging my breasts since to the best of my knowledge, you are supposed to in order to prevent capsular contracture. I was advised via email by him to not massage my breasts. A few months later, sending him recent photos, he then recommended that I start massaging. I was already 3 months postop so it didn't make a difference to start that regimen at that point.
I would never recommend this doctor. Good thing social media exists these days. The day I told him I was going to report him to the board of plastic surgery for all of these things, was the last time we spoke. I should have wrote this review sooner, but I was hoping he would have tried to be ethical and correct and address my concerns instead of trying to charge me to correct his mistakes but I was wrong. I am sorry if within these 6 months anyone had to go through something similar.

Having been a patient of Dr. Revis, I can only share that you are the first patient I have ever heard have a complaint. Do you realize he is the only double board certified plastic surgeon in South Florida. I literally interviewed over 20 surgeons to fix a botched revision. Dr. Revis provided best and worst case scenarios and told me what size would be best for me. Over the years, I have learned that some customers simply have unrealistic expectations. I noticed you only shared immediate post surgery results - what is the final outcome? No doctor wants their patient to be unhappy with a procedure - least I’d all Dr Revis. Did you take the pills prescribed to avoid capsular contraction risks and make sure that you followed all of the directions? 1000 cc plus implants are very large on an average sized woman My original implants (30 years ago) were placed over the muscle and in my research Insaw most of Dr Revis’ work was done under the muscle - that was a concern. He said he would place them over the muscle because it would be a very painful procedure to insert spacers for 6 plus weeks to allow for insertion of the implant (640cc) I am guessing you probably consulted with more than one doctor before choosing Dr Revis. Perhaps you had the under the muscle conversation with another doctor. And, I would say that as with any surgery, you have to trust the doctor to do what is best for you. Once they open you up, they may find something unexpected and they need permission to do what will give the best result. Since you are not happy now, I would make an appointment to discuss how it can be remedied. Dr Revis is truly one of the most knowledgeable, gifted, and caring doctors I have ever met. This is definitely what I would call a one off and am guessing their were other co tri buying factors. To other patients considering Dr Revis, I would give home a 10 star out of 5 if possible. Warmly, Debbie W Fort Lauderdale

So sorry you went through that! He seems shady to me. Putting these huge implants in women and not worrying about the consequences.

First- you are very pretty, regardless of your area you are dissatisfied with, I completely get it. My surgeon told me about a special incision and suture around the perimeter of the Areola, called a pin wheel incision with suture. It is a permanent suture in the shape of a "wheel" to prevent the spreading or stretching of the areola. If this were me IN WRITING I would politely ask for a copy of surgery transcript. Read thoroughly and if it placed at least you know it is very fixable. You can have them resized by another dr of choice. I hope you get things worked out, best wishes.
