WORTH IT
9 months picture. Did my last check up with surgeon. No issues. I’m 70 years old so I feel this is the last BA. Had 3 BA’s from 1977 to 2021. Always had a job and no sickness from any of the implants. First set both sides ruptured and had silicone floating in my breast tissues for decades.

Yep, you look terrific as do your breasts! I understand the concept of not wanting to look matronly although my hubby I think wishes I had gone larger than I did. May I ask how you determined the first set were ruptured after 10 years? Could you feel a change or you found out at the doctor?

Thank you for the compliment! ❤️ The first set of implants (surgery was 1977) after many years they got lumpy. They weren’t hard or sore, almost like the shell deteriorated and the silicone spread. I was like that for many years until my revision in 2005. PS cleaned out the gooey mess and implanted Mentor 500cc HP with no lift needed. After years of the heavier implants and my aging skin, I really didn’t like the look. Last year I decided to do a revision for a smaller, lighter implant. I never knew my left Mentor implant had ruptured until my revision surgery was over and my PS told me. I mentioned to the PS I have had mammogram yearly and no one told me. He said that it’s not unusual for mammograms not to show ruptures. I myself couldn’t tell probably because the Mentor implant kept it localized. Me personally will never have a regular mammogram because I believe the pressure from the mammogram machine can cause ruptures. I just had a MRI last week ordered by my family doctor for my yearly wellness. Everything is good. Sorry if this explanation is so long. You can ask me anything. Take care.

Hi dear. I looked at your profile after I wrote my reply to you. You are gorgeous and look proportionate. I believe you got the perfect size for you and I should have gone with a smaller size the 2nd time. The weight of implants and fluctuations in weight and aging takes it toll. Best wishes to you.

First off, you look wonderful!! I love the size on your frame. And I was going to ask how big your implants were before so now I know. I got 300cc silicone implants in 2017 and I have developed capsular contracture. I had a lot of breast tissue already and I got a lift with it. I’m still saving up for a revision and trying to decide if I want to go smaller or stay about the same. I’m about a 34DD in VS sizing right now but I’m only about 5’1” and about 134lbs. I sometimes think my size makes me look heavier so I’m on the fence of whether to go smaller. I’m even contemplating saline instead invade I have a rupture so I will know right away. Unsure of that also. Thanks for the update though. I haven’t been on in a long time and I think it’s time to start researching again. Have a great day

Thank you for the compliment!❤️ I personally think the smaller implants are better since I had the 500cc and now 355cc. I even told the PS I would go down to 300cc. With this last revision I just feel better in the same clothes and I’m not so self conscious. Even though the PS did a good job on the 500cc, I just felt it wasn’t me. Best wishes on what you decide. BTW, I’m really impressed with the Sientra implants.

You look amazing- would have never guessed that was a 70 year old body!!! I am just getting ready for a smaller implant exchange and lift. I am 60 and totally understand not wanting the matronly look!

At the 6 month mark. No issues and I actually think I could have went smaller. I think they look and feel natural and I’m still wearing support most of the time. Have an investment here and no more surgeries for me! Lol

Everything is great. So impressed with the Sientra implants. Very soft and so much better than my previous implants. I’m glad I went smaller because it compliments my small frame and I don’t feel matronly.

Do you mind if I ask your height and weight? I’m small framed but have gained a little weight. Wondering if (when I get a revision) if I should go a little smaller
What size implants did you get before?
April 18, 2022
I don’t mind. I’m 5’ 5” and between 124-125. Small frame. Previous (2nd) implants were Mentor 500 cc HP in 2015. Dr did good work but I felt they were too big and heavy. Last September did lift with the 355cc MP. Could have gone smaller but still happy with the results. I’m 70 so this should be it. I feel people should take in account all the issues like aging, weight fluctuations and weight of the implants. I understand that many like the big fake look but I wasn’t looking for that. Good luck to you whatever you decide. ❤️
