My Results Are So Poorly Done

I had a revision for breast implants in August of 2019. My textured, anatomical implants were replaced with smooth, round ones due to the small risk of cancer. They also caused discomfort and pain because I never got to see or feel how firm they were. That's the one plus of the revised implants, they may look like "rock in a sock" breasts, but they don't hurt now. When I consulted with the doctor, I told him how I disliked the flat, upper pole of the anatomical implants and wanted more fullness. For some reason, he decided that means a low profile, which is flat with zero fullness. I don't know if all doctors do this, but I had very little input other than relative size. I may as well have known nothing of my surgery despite all my questions. They are subfascial as the anatomical, textured ones were. The previously grafted fat doesn't help with coverage for the smooth, round implants. I wanted my areolas corrected as well but he said I didn't need to. They look bigger and worse with the implants. That justs demonstrates his poor aesthetics. My results are so poorly done. Clearly, I needed a breast lift and I don't know why one was never suggested. It was noticeable with the previous implants and looks worse with the revised smooth, round implants. That clearly doesn't benefit the patient. So, now with the smooth, round implants, they look off kilter, as if they are falling off to the side. I tried to ask the doctor as it happened before to the right side with the anatomical implants and imo, is now doing the same thing with the round ones. There is no point in just doing a breast lift when they are falling off to the sides. The results will still look awful, if not worse. I truly cannot understand how this doctor has good reviews. Maybe it's a conformity bias. You would have to have very low expectations otherwise. He has such poor aesthetics. I can't understand it. It is horrible and depressing that I was left like this due to a doctors complete disregard and not admitting his mistakes and rectifying the issues at hand. I don't know how I am going to get any of this fixed.Last updated April 19, 2021
