Dr. Ricardo Meade is a 5-star surgeon and a 5-star human being!! My situation certainly increased the degree of complexity of my case! But Dr. Meade presented options that would be safe for me while still achieving my goals, as realistically as possible. Dr. Meade performed my breast augmentation revision with breast implant exchange (switching from sub pectoral to pre pectoral), mastopexy and w/ use of mesomesh (my surgery was approximately 1 month ago.)
I felt discouraged by the time I found Dr. Meade but after I had my consult and planning with Dr Meade and his assistant - Angela M., he immediately put me at ease, they answered my many questions (and I had a lot!) and gave me hope. I traveled a ways to see Dr. Meade and I would do it all over again! In my opinion, Dr. Meade is the best there is & he treats each case with patient specificity, with an individualized approach, instead of assuming all patients need the same thing, surgically speaking and post-operatively. I am still healing and even though I don’t live local, Dr. Meade and his staff are still always available to answer my questions/ or address any concerns in a very timely manner. I am very grateful for Dr. Meade and his team! And cannot recommend him enough!

Doing well at 7- weeks post-op breast augmentation REVISION w/ internal mesh push-up bra, implant exchange & mastopexy.
My case was complex- I have a history of bilateral scapular winging, R > L with muscle wasting. My Right side required a right pectoralis major & bicep tendon transfer for scapular stabilization in 2010. In other words I don’t have a pectoralis major tendon at all in my right chest, which gives me asymmetry at baseline / pre-op. Dr. Meade did a fantastic job with my unusual/ rare circumstance & my results are great so far! I had more pain than I had anticipated for the first 2.5 to 3 weeks (which is not too surprising given my long, rare neuromuscular history) BUT, as soon as I hit about 3 weeks post-op, I started doing & feeling much, much better. Dr. Meade is extraordinary at what he does. I’m a very active, fit mother of 3 young children & an RN so I needed to be feeling better as quickly as possible. I am grateful for Dr. Meade’s skilled hands, his in-depth understanding of anatomy & physiology of the chest as well as his individualized approach to post-op mgmt.

3 months post-op from breast revision unders-to-overs

Doing really well and so glad I had the revision surgery with Dr. Meade in Dallas. I have cleavage now and just feel way more comfortable. I went from super high profile SRX 340cc with a 11cm diameter (implant chosen by previous surgeon was WAY too narrow for
my anatomy) to a high profile 365cc with diameter of 12.75cm. And switched to over the muscle implants with the use of internal bra (mesomesh). And so happy with the results. I am missing my right pectoralis major tendon in the front so that does create some asymmetry but there’s nothing I can do about that.
