Over the Moon with My Results!

Can’t begin to express just how happy I am with my results from my breast implant removal and replacement! I had my first implant surgery in 2006 and after some weight gain and weight loss, my implants were very bottom heavy. My husband and I had gone to a few consults over the last 5 years to find the right doctor for my replacement but none of them were the right fit for us to pull the trigger. While on vacation I came across Dr Eugene Kim’s website/Instagram page and showed my husband a few photos of his work. “Yep, book a consult” was his reply. My husband wasn’t able to attend my consult so you can imagine my surprise when he told me to book the surgery after I told him about the appt. I actually convinced a friend wanting an implant replacement to attend the consult with me and we both ended up having surgery the same day. I was so nervous to have the surgery as I knew it wasn’t a necessary procedure and worried I would regret changing “what wasn’t broken”. Dr Kim has a very calming demeanor and answered all of our questions and helped calm my nerves. On the day of surgery I had a chance to chat with him before surgery and make sure we were on the same page with expectations. The nurse (sorry I don’t remember her name) that prepared me for surgery was so great and knew I was nervous so took the extra time to chat with me and distract my mind while I waited. While in surgery it became apparent that internal sutures were needed to achieve the look I was going for and Dr Kim spent almost an extra hour by adding these in order to make sure everything looked great. I am confident another surgeon might not have done so. I came out of the anesthesia within about 15 minutes of being in the recovery room and the nurse took excellent care of me to make sure I was ready to go home. LA traffic make the trip home almost 4 hours but I was comfortable the entire way and even able to eat some dinner once home and watch some tv on the couch. The next couple days I had a little more pain on one side than the other but switched to Tylenol within a day or so which was easier on my stomach. I had some extra swelling on the painful side but after about 10 days that had subsided and each day they have looked better and better. I am over the moon with my results and finally have the cleavage and upper fullness that I have always wanted. I have already referred another friend to Dr Kim and will pass his name along to everyone I can. Thank you Dr Kim for the wonderful care!
