Amazing Experience: Correction of Asymmetry with Bilateral Lift and Implants

I travelled from Tasmania to Sydney to see Dr Ellis Choy for breast revision surgery. I had smaller breasts with significant asymmetry (B cup left, small A cup right, pictured in last photo). I had implants placed in December 2022 by another surgeon (teardrop, 245cc on my left and 295cc on my right, under the muscle). Recovery from my initial surgery was challenging when I quickly realised I was unhappy with my results. After consulting with my original surgeon I knew I wanted to seek revision elsewhere.

I had a phone consultation with Dr Choy. Immediately I was blown away with how thorough, compassionate and experienced he and his entire team was. He made such an effort to understand exactly what I wanted. He suggested a bilateral breast lift to help with nipple symmetry and the placement of larger round implants over the muscle to achieve my desired size and aesthetic.

I underwent revision surgery in April 2024, 16 months after my initial procedure. Half an hour before surgery Dr Choy proposed the addition of fat grafting to help conceal the implants. This was an impromptu decision which he offered free of charge. He was so meticulous and committed to achieving an optimal result. He performed a lift on both sides, a reduction on my left, placement of implants (round silicone, both 400cc, over the muscle) and fat grafting. He and his entire team were incredibly supportive during recovery.

I am so grateful that I travelled to see Dr Choy. I am 6 months post op and elated with my results (now 10DD). I couldn’t recommend Dr Choy enough!

Here are some photos from 13 months post op compared to one from just before surgery. You can see there’s still some asymmetry but that was expected given my anatomy. I’m so grateful for the overall result!
