WORTH IT
4 wks post update- The first few days were definitely the most uncomfortable — mostly tightness, swelling, pressure, and that heavy feeling across my chest as my body adjusted to the new implants and the change in positioning. Simple movements like getting out of bed, reaching, or using my upper body felt limited at first, but each day noticeably improved.

By the end of the first week, the soreness and pressure had already started calming down significantly. I still had swelling and some asymmetry from one side healing faster than the other, but I could tell my body was progressing exactly how it should. The sharp nerve sensations, random zingers, and tightness gradually became less frequent as everything started settling.

Weeks 2–3 were when I really began feeling more like myself again. My energy improved, I was moving around more comfortably, sleeping better, and I could finally start appreciating the shape and softness beginning to develop. The implants started dropping and settling more naturally, and the swelling continued improving week by week. I also noticed my chest feeling less tight and more mobile as the muscles and tissues relaxed.

Now at 4 weeks, I feel genuinely happy with my decision and so excited watching everything continue to heal and refine. My results already feel more balanced, softer, and more natural to my body. Even though healing is still ongoing and I know final results take time, I finally feel like I’m turning the corner from “recovery mode” into actually enjoying the outcome. The process has required patience, but seeing the changes week by week has made it completely worth it.

Response from Dr. Setty:
Thank you so much for sharing your story and journey so thoughtfully. It truly means a lot that you trusted me for both your original augmentation and your revision years later. One of the most rewarding parts of my job is helping patients create results that feel natural, balanced, and personalized to where they are in life at that moment. I’m so glad you felt cared for and supported throughout both experiences, and I really appreciate your kind words about our team as well. Hearing that you felt welcomed back “like family” means a great deal to all of us. Thank you again for your trust over the years — I’m excited for you and your next chapter with these beautiful results!

The Exceptional Care and Evolution of Breast Augmentation

In the summer of 2020, I made the decision to do something for myself that I had thought about for years — my first breast augmentation. I was happy with my body overall, but wanted a little more fullness, balance, and proportion while still keeping a natural look. After multiple consultations, meeting Dr. Setty changed everything. His attention to detail immediately stood out when he pointed out asymmetry I had never noticed before. No one else had mentioned it, and that level of precision is what made me trust him as my surgeon.

Together we created a plan that fit my body and goals perfectly. I had Natrelle Soft Touch silicone implants placed under the muscle — 325cc on the left and 375cc on the right — to enhance fullness while correcting asymmetry. The results were beautiful, natural, and balanced. I could not have been happier. My surgery day was seamless, recovery was smooth, and I felt cared for every step of the way.

For the next six years, I truly loved my results. They gave me confidence and were exactly what I wanted for that season of my life. But as time passed, my preferences evolved. I realized I wanted a little more upper fullness, softer cleavage, and a rounder shape that better reflected what I wanted now.

The moment I knew I wanted to make a change, there was never a question of where I would go. I returned to Dr. Setty without hesitation. Trusting someone once is one thing — returning to them years later says everything.

At my consultation, he again took the time to evaluate my body, listen to my goals, and explain the best plan moving forward. We decided on an implant exchange from under the muscle to above the muscle using Motiva Round implants — 450cc on the left and 500cc on the right — along with GalaFLEX mesh for internal support and long-term positioning.

What made the experience even more meaningful was how consistent the care was. From scheduling, to consult, to pre-op, to surgery day, everything was easy, organized, and all in one location. Staff members remembered me from six years ago and welcomed me back like family. That kind of loyalty, warmth, and continuity is rare.

This journey has been such a reminder that cosmetic surgery is personal and can evolve with you. What was perfect for me in 2020 was perfect then. What feels right for me now is different — and that’s okay. I’m grateful to have had a surgeon I trusted then, and even more grateful to trust him again now.
