Dr. Winfield Hartley in Boulder, CO: Breast Implant Replacement and Neck/facelift

I am a 62 year old woman who had 35 year old breast implants. My breasts after having 2 children coupled with my age were less than pretty. I decided to consult with Dr. Hartley about implant replacement and a breast lift. At that consultation he suggested implant replacement and believed the lift would not be necessary given my anatomy. I remarked that after the breast surgery I would be back for a neck lift and face lift. He asked me to think about doing all of these procedures at one time for several reasons: one surgery and one recovery; cost would be somewhat less since only paying for operating room one time and anethesiologist one time. After giving this a lot of thought and discussing it with my partner, I booked a second consultation with Dr. Hartley to discuss the neck lift/facelift. Dr. Hartley without question was happy to provide another consultation to me (no cost either time). At both consultation visits Dr Hartley answered all of my questions (there were many), allowed me to feel the breast implant he would use, discussed procedures and risk, what outcome was most likely, what he could accomplish on my "wish list," and which procedures he thought were necessary. I never felt rushed or unheard by Dr Hartley or by his nurse, Summer. I scheduled the surgery to take place just prior to the COVID-19 shutdown. I was very well prepared for surgery day by Dr. Hartley and Summer with a regiment of vitamins and medications. On surgery day, Dr. Hartley was available to answer any questions I had just prior to the surgery and review the procedures he was going to perform. I felt calm and in good hands. The surgery went well; took less time than originally anticipated and amazingly I had very little pain following the surgery. Within a couple days I was feeling quite well. I am now 8 weeks post surgery and my scars are mostly healed and not noticeable around my ears and hairline. My chin scar is still healing but is improving each day. My breasts look and feel amazing and the scars under the breasts are healing so well that they will not be noticeable at all in the near future. My neck and face look remarkably good (especially for my age) and Dr. Hartley also leveled out my eyebrows (eye brow lift) which had become uneven over time. I look refreshed, rested and pretty again! I highly recommend Dr. Hartley. He is a great listener, a talented surgeon and an artistic surgeon balancing science with art and able to fit it into a natural looking result. I highly recommend Dr. Hartley as a surgeon for the plastic surgery you may be considering.
