Dr. Altman changed my life - now I am able to enjoy being myself

I originally went to a consult back in 2018, for the same reason I did back in 2020, but I was too scared to even accept what I knew was happening. I had done my breast 10 years ago, in a clinic by Doral. I was young and it was very cheap back them. Since that moment, my right breast encapsulated. 8 years later, I finally decided to accept I had that problem and went to my first consult with Dr. Altman. He took his time and explained to me the good and the bad. With 100% honesty, he told could me that it might happen again, BUT to let him correct my breast.

Once again, I was too scared and walked away. 2 years later, after having my first child, my right encapsulated breast was deformed, my nipple was pulling down, my implant almost reached my neck and it hurt. I went to Dr. Altman, he once again explained to me about the procedure, the mesh, and guided me on how to take care of my breast post surgery… etc. That day I booked my surgery, with a fear I had never felt before.

When September 2020 came, I called and cancelled it because I was too afraid to go back into surgery and for my breast to encapsulated again. In my head, it could not get any worse, but the discomfort would get worse and worse. Finally, I booked once again and it was for June 2021. The day of ny pre-op came and the nurse along with Karina, only made me feel good and confident. Surgery day came, probably the scariest day, but Dr. Altman spoke with me before and gave me the peace of mind.

Today, I am 10 weeks post-surgery, and I am a different woman. The first 4 weeks, I wouldn’t let go of my right breast because I could not believe my breast was round and it wasn’t deformed. I wouldn’t sleep, thinking I will harm it. For my post-op with Dr. Altman, I told him I was very scared and cried. He hugged me and told me they are symmetrical and if I wanted to come see him every week so he can remind me, to do it. Since that day, I was able to enjoy being me. I am able to buy nice shirts and enjoy being comfortable.

I know this is very long, but Dr. Altman changed my life. I was so ashamed of my breasts for 10 years and now I am able to enjoy being myself.
