Post Op 34d
Still in love with my new breasts. No pain at all at this point. Very soft. Previously had capsular contracture on the right side, so taking Singular daily. Areolas are still healing. Wear steri strips most of the time. Haven’t started using scar cream yet. Great experience so far.
630cc 685cc. Breast Implant Revision with Donut Lift
3/20/24 Contacted Dr Revis via email. He responded, personally, himself with a surgery plan and breast lift options. The plan was decided. The cost was decided with the initial contact.
In the next 1-2d was contacted by his office with the medical testing requirements & options for payment. $1000 down payment was required to schedule surgery.
My initial surgery date was pushed forward because my mammogram result was abnormal. Had to have an eventual ultrasound & biopsy. Yikes!!! But luckily, it turned out to be fibrous tissue. His staff was very easy to deal with during this process. The Breast Center kept requesting different orders from them for testing. I live out of state. This could’ve been a challenge. It wasn’t. By the time I contacted them about what the Breast Center was asking for, it had already been completed & sent over.
9/5/24 Pre-op appt with Dr Revis went well. He has great bedside manner. As soon as he entered the room, I knew I’d made a great choice! His staff was very friendly as well. I commented how easy everything had been preparing for surgery. It is apparent they have experience dealing with out of state patients. Anyway, Dr Revis completed the exam. Prescriptions for antibiotics & pain meds were given on this day. Keep that in mind for out-of-towners. You will need to allow time to get scripts filled at a local pharmacy.
9/6/24 Surgery was scheduled for 10:30a. Arrival was 8am. Surgery is done at a Surgical Center not far from his office. Staff here are also very friendly. FYI This center will contact you weeks ahead of time. They require some paperwork to be completed for anesthesia. They also require their fee to be paid directly to them on the day of surgery. Another thing for out-of-towners to keep in mind. Anesthesia MD talks with you before surgery. Then Dr Revis comes in & marks your body. I told him I was very nervous. He said “He’s got this!!” Very confident in his work. I like that. Surgery was quick. Was back at the hotel about 1:30p
9/6-9/9/24 Experienced a lot of pain on my right side. Had a capsule on this side that had to be removed from my old implants. Dr Revis also did the internal bra with extra stitching. His office will call you a couple times to check on you & the Surgery Center will call you once to check in.
9/10/24 Post op appt with Dr Revis. It was short. Was cleared to travel home.
9/11/24 Arrived home. No issues. Will continue to update this review as time passes.
POD #6 Things look great. Some bruising. Steri strips are supposed to stay in place for 3wks. Little to no pain. Already had implants, so don’t have to wait for them to drop in place. Keep that in mind if it’s your first augmentation.
It has been a great experience so far. Would definitely recommend Dr Revis if you want larger implants or have had issues with previous implants. He had a lot of revision experience.
