My journey started with finding a lump in my breast over 3 months ago

I went to my 3 week post op appt and everything is looking great! They removed the remaining surgical glue and bought the scar guard. Im pleased with the progress and overall healing. There is some slight shadowing/hyperpigmentation which should lighten over time. They also offered fading cream option once I’m completely healed. Please note, I don’t smoke and don’t have a history of keloids. This does make a difference! Scar guard cream will run you about $75, so make sure to budget for that. You’ll want it for the best results.

The girls are settling in and the pain has substantially subsided. Glue around incisions have started to flake and fall off. Dr. Setty stated what was left of the glue would be removed at my 3 week appointment and then I cold start scar management. Honestly I love how they look now so any improvement will be a bonus!

I’m healing well and feeling better each day. Still sore, but tapering off of the pain meds. Showers are a luxury and after the second day I was able to take my first shower. It was heavenly and made me feel like I was getting back to normal. I love my progress so far…I’ll check back in after my 1 week post op appointment with Dr. Setty.
