Almost 3 months!
WORTH IT
In 2 days I'll be at 3 months PO - I'm pretty excited that it's finally here since lots of the pain and uncomfortable feelings are gone. I'll also be able to wear different kinds of bras rather than my surgical bra/other compression bras - hoorah!
My left boob (right in pictures) is still slowly dropping and fluffing up. I'm still massaging it and will continue to do so until it reaches a similar position as my right boob. As long as there's progress (even slow) I'm happy! I'll be asking Dr. Revis about it in a couple days when I send in my 3 month PO progress. It's possible it can take the whole 6 months of dropping and fluffing before it gets where it needs to be. I'm just curious to get his assessment, and making sure nothing is wrong with it - overall he's been very reassuring, and hasn't been alarmed about it dropping slower than the other one. Although, I know to be patient, there's always that little worrying feeling that pops up once in awhile - which, is normal! Whenever I feel that way I just need to reset myself, and be realistic and patient with the healing process.
Scare wise - it's almost unnoticeable on my right boob - and I can still see it a little on the left. I'm using the Silagen scar gel once a day rather than two times per day. It's nice to start having a little more freedom from post op care!
I'll send more updates in a few days after Revis responds to my 3 month PO pics!

Re-uploading pic - 2 month 2 weeks PO
Apparently the pic I uploaded on my phone was cut off - so here is the one I was trying to post.
Also note - this is only a 2 month post op pic, and they will change a lot over the next year in the dropping and fluffing process - really curious to see how they will come out in the end!

2 months 2 weeks!
I plan on putting a more formal review at my 3 month, but just thought I’d do a quick updated!
Everything has been going really well. The right, I think, has almost dropped to its final place and the left seems to be about a month behind in dropping. Good news is that a lot of pain/uncomfortable feelings seem to be almost gone. The left one has been tight for awhile and is finally feel like it’s starting to loosen up - hoorah! I’m also massaging it more often than the other one. Sometimes I feel impatient with lefties progress - but I’m still early in recovery!
Overall, I’m loving how they’re looking! The scars are almost unnoticeable as well (under the areola). I’m still using the Silagen scar gel twice a day - it’s a bit pricey, but worth it! After the 3 month mark I may use it just once a day.
This update is pretty small! Will be doing a more thorough one in a couple weeks :)
