WORTH IT
I got my first set of boobs on Jan 26th 2016 when I turned 30, and have been loving them! I was completely flat (AA cup) and got 425 CC moderate plus profile (Mentor). However, now I feel it's time for a bit of an upgrade, and I may as well get them while I'm still young in my mid 30s!

I'll be going larger this time around, and having my surgery with Don Revis on November 30th. I do have a little bit of bottoming out, which Revis noted in my consultation, so he will fix that with his internal bra method. I also hear that recovery is a bit....ouch....for that, but my pain tolerance is pretty high, so I know I can get through it.

Another reason why I'm choosing Don Revis is that he is also great at XL implants as I'm going for a bigger look (700-800 range/ silicone with Mentor Boost or Xtra). Essentially, I love his work, and have done quite a bit of research on it before making this decision. I'll also be adding pictures soon of my wish boobs (mainly from his site) as well as my current boobs!

I do know that XL implants aren't quite the norm - but, it's the look I want and the one I am going for. Everyone has their preferences ;)

Overall, I'm very excited and starting to count down the days! Just 78 to go!

BTW - it's making me rate Revis now to submit this, so I will keep it at 5 stars as the whole experience with the consultation, payment, scheduling etc has been 5 stars! I can't say if it's worth it yet or not as I haven't gotten them yet :) (back in the day I thought I could do a blog without rating right off the bat, but all good if that's changed!)

3 Days away!

I haven't updated this in awhile, and somehow time really flew by!
But hey - pictures! Pictures of what they look like now and one wish pic (also a patient of Revis). Mine have dropped a bit since I first got them, and I lost some upper pole fullness. So, the idea: same (or a little more) amount of side boob, closer together, and upper pole fullness. I think an extra 325 or so CCs + the internal bra can get me close to this. I don't necessarily want mine to look natural, but I also don't want a couple of super balloons on my chest either. That's my personal preference, however some women want one or the other, which is a-ok :D.
In terms of logistics...I'm flying down to Fort Lauderdale tomorrow, have my preop the next day, and then surgery day at 9:00am! It'll be nice to have more time off work after the long Thanksgiving break, even if it will be from recovering.
I'm really curious to see what size Dr. Revis will recommend in the preop, and what will fit what I want. I'm hoping for the Boost series from Mentor as it's new and has a nice shape - but, will trust whatever is recommended for me.
In the meantime, I think I got everything situated aside from packing. I got me some snacks - if I randomly get hungry (I can become a hangry beast easily), and saltine crackers if I get nauseous and need something boring and bland. Also got some miralax in case that's needed. I can't remember from experience, but I recently read that pain killers can cause constipation, and serious constipation can get weird really fast if you don't do something about it. That's a "just in case" tho.....I don't remember needing to take any type of laxatives the last time I had surgery. Of course....the laxatives they gave me at that time were the butt ones. That actually stopped me from taking them, even if I needed it (thankfully, I didn't). I prefer my meds going in through my mouth hole, and only that hole.
Mental Check: Right now I'm feeling more excited than nervous - but, I'm sure some anxiety will kick in again at some point. Although, it'd be nice if I just feel excited without the anxiety. Let's see how well I control my thoughts the next few days to avoid anxiety!
Well, that's all for now!

Pre-op done and surgery tomorrow!

Got into Florida fairly late last night (and into the hotel room at midnight). Travels were smooth, which is all I could ask for! I will be leaving the morning of the 5th day here, so I have plenty of time to rest, and make sure I’m recovering well.

Aaannnddddd….Pre-op today went incredibly well!

The ladies at the front desk and Office Manager were helpful and very pleasant. (I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!). I first filled out paperwork, and we went over all pre-op, post-op etc directions. Then I was led into a room to change into a robe, and have my before pictures taken.

Next, I met Dr. Revis! He was incredibly kind, and seemed like an overall wonderful person. He was very helpful, made me feel extremely comfortable, and answered all of my questions. I really appreciate others who are light hearted, and really listen to you - he made everything so easy!!

We went with my top choice implant as well! 775cc Mentor Boost. I’m incredibly excited! My boyfriend and I were trying to guess which implant I would get and our top two choices were the same as his. (The Boost and 790cc mentor HP Xtra). I chose the boost as the size wasn’t that different, and the boost is supposed to be a bit more firm/retain its shape better than the Xtra.

After that we walked to CVS to put my prescription in. We needed to pick it up a bit later towards the evening, but got it just in time before eating dinner and settling down.

This time my incision will be under my areola, which will be a different healing experience. My first time around was under my bust. It sounds like the internal bra technique he’s using will also hide my current scar - so that will be nice - less scars!

Surgery is tomorrow, bright and early. I’m extremely excited, and don’t feel any anxiety yet, which is nice. Thankfully I’m exhausted, and think I’ll sleep pretty well tonight. I’m just hoping I don’t wake up from anesthesia saying anything weird….we will see…

My next update will be sometime post-op! That’s all for now :).
