6 months post breast implant revision to replace implants & fix asymmetry

Breast Implant Revision
WORTH IT
I got breast implants in 1999 and although they were larger, my left implant was too high and the right implant was too low. The plastic surgeon stated it was due to my breasts being asymmetric at baseline that made them look asymmetric. I was too scared to have a revision and if he couldn't admit that he had some contribution to the asymmetry, I knew I could not trust him in fixing it. Fast forward to 2021, I found all these great reviews for Dr. Richards. I figured it was time to replace the implants and fix the asymmetry. Dr. Richards is very sweet and honest. He listens and really tries to help. Never did I feel that my concerns were not important. When I first saw him, he initially recommended dropping the left implant, but I wanted him to raise the right implant, feeling that as I got older, gravity would just make them more droopy. The surgery went well. During that first week after surgery, I was so happy because they looked more symmetrical. I no longer felt botched. Over time, the right implant dropped slightly and during my 3 month postop appt, we both agreed that the left implant was slightly higher compared to the right. As a result, I booked a second procedure with Dr. Richards to slightly lower the left implant. Now, I am 5 weeks out, and they are perfect. I no longer feel botched. I can't believe I waited this long to get them fixed. I really appreciate Dr. Richards. He's competent but humble. He's kind and sympathetic. He's sincere and highly skilled. I'm so glad that I chose him and grateful for his help.
