3 days post-op

It's amazing the difference the second time around! I was awake and alert on the way home this time. I was even able to walk around, eat, and play video games :) They feel a lot lighter as well.
The day after surgery I was a little tender and my bra was uncomfortable. There is swelling and it seems it got a little worse on day 3. I see some red around my areola (possibly bruising) that I'll keep an eye on. I'm taking antibiotics that will most likely take care of all that. I feel that I'm able to move around and do a lot of things but I'm trying to take it easy. I took hydrocodone last night thinking it would help me sleep but I don't think it did. Sleeping on your back at an angle isn't easy! I'm usually a stomach and side sleeper.
I hope the implants don't move much after they are fully healed. I went smaller, so I didn't have to wait until they "dropped" and I didn't get a lift. I just hope they don't drop anymore. The pockets were closed off a bit on the sides to accommodate my smaller implants but not on the bottom. The sides are the most tender and that's where I feel most of the swelling. This is the max size I want to be, so I think they'll be perfect after the swelling goes down.
So far I'm loving the implants! The silicone is waaay better than the saline implants I had. They are feeling very natural :)

34yrs Old, 5'7", 120lbs - Saline to Silicone Implant Exchange/revision

My first implants were done in Dec of 2003 by Dr Andreasen. I got 270cc saline filled to 300cc under the muscle. He overfilled them to avoid rippling. I LOVED them, especially compared to my natural undeveloped breasts. Not just UNDER-developed but UN-developed. I have done a lot of research to get an idea of what I wanted from where I was coming from and I have not come across anyone with smaller breast than my natural ones. It's sort of sad :( but there are worse things in life :)

For the past few years or so I've been wanting to change them out for silicone and/or something smaller. They felt hard and I had some rippling when I bent over. I also felt they were too heavy and I wasn't liking how they sat without a bra. I ended up covering them up more and more throughout the years. I have a wide sternum, so the width of them never really bothered me. I don't believe I could have fixed that unless I went over the muscle but I wanted to keep the same pocket. It was mostly the weight and hardness that was bothersome.

I wanted to be smaller to compliment my smaller frame and have a more natural feel. I ended up exchanging my overfilled 270cc saline with 195cc silicone (Natrelle implants). I was going back and forth from 175cc to 195cc. My Dr recommended 195cc, which I ended up going with. I had my surgery yesterday and so far so good! He made my pockets smaller to fit my new implants and used the same incision. I took one extra strength Tylenol the next day in case they started hurting but I haven't felt any pain :) There is swelling, so they look very close to my old ones at the moment, but I know that will subside. Sorry for all the photos! I wanted to show what my original size looked like in case anyone was looking at 270cc-300cc :)
