I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Miss Highton

My 17/18-year-old silicone implants were becoming uncomfortable, and I really didn’t like my shape of my breasts anymore. I did extensive research into the best surgeon and selected Miss Highton. I went into my initial consultation with an open mind where Miss Highton explained in detail all my options. A complete removal and capsulectomy was a no brainer for my personal set of circumstances. I also researched the pros and cons of full removal and was a little apprehensive as my original size of breast was very small and after breast feeding two children potentially my breasts post op wouldn’t look the best. However, I was to the point where the removal was long overdue, and I couldn’t wait to get them out! Upon waking from my anaesthetic Miss Highton explained how the surgery went and how one of the implants ruptured on removal and that the capsules were extremely calcified. The utter relief that these implants where finally out is an understatement! No issues with my recovery so far and I’m happy with the results. The photos attached are only 4-week post op. The only little disappointment is that both breasts are not completely symmetrical as my left breast as slight crease in the tissue. Miss Highton does however think that over time and through rigorous massage that the crease eventually will drop out. It’s early days and I am optimistic. Miss Highton is an excellent surgeon, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her. Not only is she highly qualified in her field of work but a great people person too. I always felt comfortable in her company and could ask her anything. I have been discharged from clinic but the reassurance I can see her at any anytime regarding any concerns adds to my overall positive experience. In addition, I would like to mention that the level of customer care I received at Oaklands Hospital, Salford was also excellent.
