Breast implant removal

hug4jenn
So scared to get mine removed but these puppies have got to go!! I got my under the muscle saline implants 15 years ago and since have gained weight as well (25lbs) Gotta love aging ???? Anyhow, I want them out. I think it is my duty to share in this community because many before me have been so open, brave and honest, and I should also pay it forward. As many of you know, this is a very hard, personal decision. I have an appt. 2/20/19 for an in office deflation and I am scared to death of what they will look like. I want to leave them natural after explantation but have decided to leave the empty bags in for a bit to see what the end result would look like. That way if I really hate them and I’m constantly serving some flap jacks I can do a lift when I have the empty bags removed. I will post pictures as I go on my journey. Feel free to message with any questions you may have.

I'd be interested in your journey. I have had 500cc implants for almost 10 years and have gained only 10 lbs, but did not have a lift with the first set. I'm thinking of a lift but keeping my implants. So my search is just beginning today. Best to you and I look forward to hearing more about your experience.

Day Of In Office Deflation

hug4jenn

I had an in office deflation today. Dr. Wilson was amazing and his staff was so friendly! This was a very surprising experience. All they did was puncture the implants which will let the saline dissipate back into the body naturally. I expected an incision and more pain, but had literally a pinch of pain and was in and out in less than an hour! I have to keep them in and draining out for a month. At the end of the month I will determine if I want the lift. I think it’s clear I could use one, but I’m trying to avoid it. I will say I thought there would be more of a difference after today, but turns out I have way more natural tissue than I thought and it will take a bit for the entire implant to drain out. Can’t wait for the final results. So far, I am over the moon about this decision!!

Breast Implant Removal Complete!

hug4jenn
This is the best decision I have ever made! They weren’t as flat as I feared afterwards thank god! I do miss the fullness in the upper portion but this is no doubt so much better. I feel so free. Dr. Wilson and his staff were great and they made me feel so comfortable. Recovery was as to be expected. Second and third days being the most uncomfortable. I had no pain meds, which I wish I had but glad I didn’t because I prob would have done more than I should. I hope this helps someone who has been pondering this as long as I did. I feel great and the wonderful thing is I fit in all my shirts again!

Your breasts are fantastic. Besides the health part, being older and wiser, the upper part is what I’m trying to get rid of.
