Three weeks post explant

I went back for my three week follow up this morning. They took the remaining surgi-strip off of the left scar (the right one fell off two days ago) and said that my scars were healing nicely. I still have some pain in my upper pectoral muscles when I do some things, but I have to keep reminding myself that it's only been a few weeks. My six week checkup is in three weeks.

My breasts have become a bit heavier and I'm surprised at how little my scars are, considering it's only been 3 weeks. The strength in my singing voice has come back, and I can easily go through my range. My personality has definitely become more level--my husband and I haven't fought since I had them removed, and the interesting thing is that we didn't start fighting until after I got them--an interesting coincidence.

Overall, I feel great and I couldn't be happier with the way that I look and feel!

Day 2 - The big reveal

Here is my pic, post shower from this morning. I'm very happy with the way they look, and the crazy thing is that I'm wearing the sports bra that I wore post augmentation! I'm so happy to be able to fit into tops that I thought I would have to get rid of because my chest was too big!

Post Surgery - Day 2

I couldn't wait to take a shower this morning!! The water felt good on my back as it my back muscles are a little achy, maybe from no longer compensating for the extra weight from the implants. The black sports bra in the photo rubbed my incisions, so I changed into one of the sports bras I bought for recovery post augmentation. It fits really well, which confirmed for me that my implants were making my chest much bigger than I wanted. So again, I am so happy with my decision.

My husband said "your boobs like they did when I married you." We had been married 3 years when I got them and I was completely my decision. He liked them then, with implants, and now without again.

I've been able to sit for several hours, but the weight started causing me discomfort, so I took an ibuprofen and I've been lying down on the couch to give my back a rest. But other than that, I'm feeling great!
