Dr Dev is the Best!!!
Where do I even begin!?! I am 10 days post explant and my experience with Dr Dev was nothing short of spectacular! I found Dr Dev through an online friend who courageously shared her story with breast implant illness and removal, and I just knew he was the surgeon for me. Kind of like when you find your wedding dress; he was “the one”. I waited 6 months to see Dr Dev. Not once in those 6 months did I ever question my decision. I was confident in his abilities and knew I was in the BEST hands!!
The day of surgery I was nervous. I didn’t want to get out of the car, but we saw Dr Dev walking into the surgery, who waved at us and told us to come in, and my worry/fear turned into peace and excitement.
My nurse Gwen greeted me in the waiting room and took me back to the exam room where I met Dr Dev. I truly cannot speak highly enough about this man. He is so kind, so compassionate, so down to earth and he took the time to actually listen to me. He made an effort to get to know me- which was very important to me being that I hadn’t met him before the day of my surgery. I wanted to feel valued and cared for as a person, and not feel like I just another surgery. He made me feel like the most important human in the world, he even asked me to take off my mask (thanks Covid) so he could see my face, which I greatly appreciated. He took his time marking me up, he explained to me how the procedure would go, and then met me in the OR.
My recovery has gone really well, but he was available for any questions I had, and may I say- I LOVE MY RESULTS!!!!! I’m so happy!! I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better surgeon, and has the very best team working with him as well!!
Gwen was the best nurse. She was my rock through the procedure. Paula was my CRNA and she took the best care of me!!! And Beatrice- words will never be able to express how much this woman means to me. We connected before my procedure and she took such good care of me before I even stepped foot in the office. She is the most loving, caring, beautiful woman, and you can tell she is doing exactly what she’s been called to do. She went above and beyond and I’m forever grateful for all she’s done for me.
I could go on and on about how much I loved my experience with Dr Dev and his team at Aqua, but I’ll say this... I would choose Dr Dev over and over again. I’m still in awe over how amazing he is and how everything went. The care I received was truly exceptional. I felt like a VIP and I’m just a random lady from Iowa. Did I mention how much I love my results!?!? He is truly gifted!! I cannot recommend him enough!
