234cc Low Profile Implant Exchange for a 165cc

WORTH IT
Like many girls out there, I feel my implants are just too big for my body. I am very petite, and got 234cc midrange, and although it seems small, it was less natural than what I was hoping for. I was constantly wavering between taking them out completely or trying a smaller size first. I have been very serious about both these decisions at different moments. I have now decided to replace them with a 165cc moderate implant, and try that out first.
I am going to share my results to help other woman make their own decisions and I found it very difficult to find photos and advice on very small implants like the 165cc. My advice to any girl would be, don't allow your doctor to choose the size for you - you have to make these decisions yourself and do the research, (which takes a lot of time to learn) because nobody can decide what you are going to like on your body.
Honestly, if I had to go back, I would have just never gotten any implants, I had tiny beautiful boobs, and now I am too afraid they will be stretched out and ruined to go back to nothing. But sadly, I do actually regret the procedure.
Anyhow - I am living in the now, & I am going for the 165cc, and with a positive attitude very excited to get a smaller result. :D

You look beautiful now and I am sure you will also be beautiful with the adjusted size. Feeling "right" in your body and your proportions is so personal. Congrats getting clarity on your decision and best of luck with journey!

I think your boobs look PERFECT I wish I had them

I feel you completely. I am 18 days post op, I chose 275 cc mini profile, and recovery has been so difficult. I wish I never gotten the boob job and seriously reconsidering explant.

I would say that you can easily explant them and have almost no effects, other than two scars since you just had them done. Be patient with yourself and your healing and know that you have the option to do anything you want to, so there is nothing to stress about. If you end up loving them, keep them, and if you want them out - at least you will never have to look in the mirror and wonder if you want implants again because you've tried it! :D But be patient with your body and ask yourself why you wanted them - if you were very insecure before about them then maybe you went too big and you need to go down to under 190cc, but if you weren't that insecure before and just did this as an extra, then I'd probably suggest you to take them out within the year while the skin is still tight.

Thanks for the support - I am due to go into surgery on the 29th, so next Wednesday & the results post-op. It is tough, I wish I was strong enough to just go for the explant and hope my body heals but I am really petrified of what that could mean, and I am afraid to have to battle myself in the mirror everyday about them. I am young and I like having a chest that matches my age, 28 - so hopefully the 165cc's will match my frame ; 105pounds and 5'4. I actually wanted to go for a 145cc or 155cc implant, however the doctor said he would have to adjust the pocket for something that small and that becomes a more difficult surgery with stitches along the side boob area, which on a thin patient, there would be dimples that could be seen from the outside. So, I am going as conservative as they will allow me to.

From what I've read in the Q&A forum that 50c doesn't make much of a difference. It's something like 1 Tbsp. Spread throughout the complete implant it isn't much. Mod profile are really wide implants so I'm not sure how they compare to what you have now. However your PS is correct about having to fix the pocket to adjust to a smaller size. If you haven't had implants long, your breasts will retract back quickly to pre-BA. That's what Ive read from lots of ladies who decide to remove them within 6-12 months. Also the Dr in that same forum state for every 150cc you increase one cup size. So I imagine 165cc should increase your pre-BA size by one cup. Hope this helps! Keep us updated when possible. Good luck.

3-Day Post -op, Revision from 234cc to 165cc Low Plus

Fearless4526
I am now 3 days into healing process, revision from 234cc Moderate to 165cc Low-Plus and can already see some changes from day 1 which is promising. I was instantly happy about the smaller results. Very quick healing process when downsizing as the pocket is already made, unlike like the first procedure where you feel tight and swollen and in pain. They look proportionate to my body now, and also resemble my real breasts. It is so nice to see the shape of my real breasts again, and the minor asymmetry and curves. They are sitting a little lower than what I am used to, however doctor told me to wait 2 weeks to see some change, and the final result in 1 year.
Implants are not for everybody - I thought I wanted them, but I really would have been happy to have never done this. However the result I have now is very close to my original breasts and I am so thankful to have that back. For anyone wanting to go smaller or explant, you won't regret it.
I will attach a photo.

Do you have any pictures of your new size? I have 300 and want to downsize to 165 as well. It’s so hard to find small implants on this site. Thank you so much for sharing!
