I have been waiting for this moment my whole life! I have never been happy with my breasts and always felt that my stomach stuck out further then my boobs. ??????????? Now I’m 48, have 3 teenagers, and although I still feel mom guilt or doing something that’s just for me .... I am super excited!! I have always been full A, small B cup. When I had kids, and put on some weight, I went up to a full B/small C. I recently lost 25 lbs, and with even the most extreme padding.... I still don’t fill out a B cup. I’m not looking to go big .... I just want to fill in a full cup size wo tons of padding. Or to be able to put on a bathing suit and not the cups protruding off my body.
I managed to talk my husband into it, and we went last week to the free consultation. I went with Premier Plastic Surgery in Voorhees. I can not say enough nice thing about this place. From my first inquiry to meet with them, through now, they have been the nicest, most caring people. My husband and I met with Dr. Franckle, and after that one visit, we both knew this was our guy. He sat with us, listened to every concern and question we could possibly come up with (and I had a LOT of questions lol.). He gave his professional opinion on what he thought I should do, and what I shouldn’t do. He took 3D photos and was able to show us what I would look like w different sizes, and lifts vs implants etc. we left there confident in what we were going to do. I could have booked it right there and then, but they urge you to go home, think about, and really be sure it’s what you want.
I called the following morning and booked it. We put our deposit down, and in 3 days I have my pre op visit. My procedure is scheduled for 2 weeks from Monday! I’ve been obsessed with reading everyone’s journey. I’m so exited! I’ll be sure to post some before pictures from my visit next week.

Thanks! I was a bit worried the weather today was going to push back my pre op, but thankfully we didn’t get as much snow as they thought. After today, my procedure will be paid in full .... still kind of in shock that his is really happening!

Don't have guilt for doing something for you! It's the best thing I've ever done for myself!

Thanks ... I know I shouldn’t feel guilt, but I still do. And now the thought of buying all new bras, bathing suits, tops etc ..... $$$ My kids are all teenagers and don’t really need much, but it’s such a hard habit to break from spending on them to spending on me.

I took some before pictures today. It’s hitting me that this is really happening ... and quickly! I am soo super excited, and just as scared and nervous. I’m such a baby when it comes to pain... just the idea of being in pain freaks me out. I liked that I read most of you were pain free and only on over the counter pain meds by day 3 or 4.
I realized I didn’t say much about my physical self in my first post. I’m 5’3 ... 123 lbs. I just recently (the past 18 months) dropped almost 30 lbs. I’m hoping to get to 120 by the surgery, but seeing it is only 2 weeks away, not sure I will hit that mark ???????????

How did u lose the weight? That's one thing I'm going through now, to kinda show my husband I'm serious about this... and I need to lose about 15 to 20 pounds. Been going to the gym three weeks now, but only about 4 pounds down :(

Also, do u know what you're getting?
As an aside, I'm getting the same guilt feelings. It's just that one of my girls is starting college, ones in Kindergarten, and theres so much more I could use that money for ya know? I mean, they have everything they need.. but. Idk. It's tough. That's partly why my husband isn't all for it. Hes all about saving for a rainy day, while my mentality is.. enjoy life while we can! (Within reason of course, lol)

Pre op done! Paid in full!

I went to my pre op yesterday. Got some final measurements, some new pictures, and I even looked at getting a bigger size ???? They have an amazing 3D image that they can manipulate to show what different sizes would look like. It is just so hard for me to imagine myself with those boobs! I want my new boobs (profile wise) to look like my current ones w a bra on. Nothing too big ... just full. My husband likes the 385cc .... but I think I may like the 475? Straight on, the look the same, but from the side, the 475 has more fullness on top. They will be placed under the muscle, so based on everything I’ve read, some fullness will be lost. But when I mentioned that to my doctor, he said no, not really ??????????? now I’m scared the 475 will look too big! So what do you ladies think? Have you lost any fullness being under muscle? Are you glad you went up in size or regret not going up in size?
I am also surprised at my doctors recovery plan. No pain meds .... just ibuprofen and extra strength Tylenol ???? (not even muscle relaxers) and doesn’t feel the need to wear bra 24/7 following the procedure. He believes it’s more of a comfort thing and doesn’t help or hinder the recovery process. He said some people prefer the support of a bra, especially when sleeping, but it was totally up to me. He says this procedure will be super easy for me and that it will feel like I had an extra strenuous chest workout at the gym. I totally agree that everyone heals differently, and everyone’s experience will be unique to them, but I’ve read more ‘stay on your pain meds for first 3 days’ stories, then I have of ‘no real pain at all’ stories. It just scares me to think I’ll be doing this with no pain meds as a back up ????

Now, I may be wrong, but it seems the upper pole fullness you want can be achieved by using a high profile rather than a moderate profile implant. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong.) Did your PS go over the profile options with you as well as sizes? I went with moderate Soft Touch, which seems to be similar to moderate plus profile, and at almost 2 months, I still have more upper pole fullness than I really want, especially on my right side (tighter muscles due to being right hand dominant.) And...just my experience, but as much as I hated how the surgical bra looked, and hated how the velcro straps wouldn't stay closed toward the end of the 3 weeks, I grew very uncomfortable very quickly when not having that support. I personally wouldn't have wanted to go through those first pre-op days without an RX pain med and the snug surgical bra, but I know other women have done it without problems! At the very least, I would have wanted a sports bra that was easy on-off and very supportive.

Omg that is crazy!! I have a six different medication the prescribed me!!! I hope you don’t need any pain meds. Is your doctor willing to prescribe them if you need them
