Ruptured in Need of Removal
WORTH IT$9,500
My implants are only 2 yrs old. My right was getting droopy, felt softer than the other, and started to get a little bulge. A year ago my 3 yr old son and i were horsing around and he stepped on my boob. I felt a slight burning sensation but it didn’t have any visible issue. I could feel it for months and I thought that the implant pressed on the pocket and tore the pocket a little.
I was going through a difficult transition at the time and really didn’t think anything was wrong with my implant. Until about 3 months go I noticed it was displaced slightly and had a little bulge at the bottom where I thought the pocket had been torn.
I live in a new place and had to lookup a new PS. I did...and she gave me a consult. She thought that the incident I described wasn’t enough to rupture an implant but recommended an ultrasound just to be sure. Or I could wait three months and come back and see if there were any changes. I opted for the ultrasound.
The ultrasound showed a rupture and next week I go in for an MRI. I’m super disappointed ????

Implant Replacement
Glad I went smaller. My first set of implants were 255cc moderate profile. I had them done in Japan. One ruptured and I had to wait a year to have them replaced (long story). They were textured and one ruptured. The replacement surgery recovery was terrible . So glad I picked a better PS this time. Can’t say enough about her.
Since my first set was done in Japan, there was no exact replacement size in the US and I was forced to rethink my sizing. Second time around I decided on 200cc low profile and I’m really pleased with how natural they look.
I’m 5’1” and a petite 105lbs, typically wear size XS and 0 for pants and dresses. Also, I’m 46 yrs old and it looks weird at my age to have boobs popping out. The first set were moderate profile and they popped out quite a bit. I didn’t like the way clothing fit. I had to get a larger size on shirts and had issues keeping the top buttons closed...they constantly came undone.

Implant Replacements
I'm a year and a half post op but wanted to share some pictures. I comment quite often on those contemplating small implants...and some have asked for pics. My first set had one rupture in the first year and I had to replace them. Totally not normal and nobody knows why it ruptured. I lived with the ruptured implant for a year before getting them redone.
My first set was textured and the removal of a ruptured textured implant is absolutely horrific. DO NOT GET TEXTURED IMPLANTS.
When getting them replaced I was back in the states and could not get the same size I had before. So I decided to go way down in size for a couple reasons. 1. I was getting divorced so the boobs were just for me now. 2. I'm short and petite and had trouble finding shirts that didn't make me look matronly or top heavy. 3. Sweaters made me look heavier than I am. 4. My shirts wouldn't stay buttoned.

I also am petite like you and had mine replaced. I now notice they are more drupy as I had cc so mine where hard and very painful. Once you had your implants replaced did you find they where more drupy? My implants are not a big size but I have no tissue as I am so small. Do you have a current picture you can share?
