Breast augmentation with Renuva - I am healing rather quickly

ORIGINAL POST

Breast Augmentation with Renuva

Emeraldharpist
$4,800
I have deflated breasts from weight loss (32 yrs old, 5'6, went from 170 to 125 pounds). I don't honestly know my breast size, since I wear size small yoga bras/bralettes. I know my ribs are 34" around, and I would guess I'm a large A... maybe a B if it was a push up.I came to Dr Hernandez looking for a laser breast lift, but instead, she recommended Renuva as a non invasive small augmentation. My nipples are not pointed downwards (ptosis), I simply don't have enough fat to fill out my breasts. She gave me three shots of renuva to each breast (1.5 cc per shot). My main concern was being able to conceal this from my husband while I was healing. The cool thing about renuva is that there are no obvious results right away. I wanted to blame my larger breasts on weight gain (which I'm actively trying to do). I've posted pics of 4 hours after injection, 24 hours, and 72 hours. I bruise easily, and my bruises take a long time to heal. The worst part was the anesthetic, but while it pinched and stung, it wasn't that bad (and I HATE needles). I didn't feel much during the procedure. The doctor was informational, pleasant, and attentive. The bruising was minimal, as you can see. The hard part is hiding the injection punctures. I used the office samples of silicone scar cream, foundation, and menstruation cramps as an excuse to remain clothed at bedtime. I leave in 3 days for a week long visit to my sister, where I will keep my injection sites medicated. I will also be taking Lysene and vitamin C to promote skin healing. As you can see, there is no obvious inflation of my breasts yet, and I am healing rather quickly. I will update this post at the 3 month Renuva waiting period (mid November 2020) with my augmentation results!

Thanks for sharing how you've been getting on so far!

Hey there, I’m a Renuva recipient too! I’ve had it added on lipo defects/ depressions on outer thighs and a little on tummy dents. Ironically I got the defects when my doctor did lipo for fat transfer to breast. Lol. The Renuva has helped a lot!! But it’s definitely subtle. Hopefully it’s more or less permanent. I’m hoping to get more done... but I contacted the company that makes Renuva because they have been out of stock since the end of 2019. They told me they hoped to be restocked in around October. I’m super surprised your doctor had some! Maybe she kept some in reserves....?

Thanks for sharing your experience! I have 4.5 cc's on each side, so I'm hoping for some rounding and filling of my deflated boobs... I hope the results aren't TOO subtle! lol.
I was told that Renuva is hard to get bc of Covid, and my doctor did have to order some for my procedure. She had 3 syringes in reserve, but I needed 6. We waited until we had 6 before scheduling my procedure. It was maybe a 2 day wait.

where did you go to fix your Lipo dents using renuva?
July 13, 2021
Hello are you still happy with your results/ did you go back for another round? I also have dents and countries irregularly due to a botched liposuction. I’m interested in possibly fixing that with renuva. Do you mind sharing progress photos as well? Thank you!

Can you post your current results since August? I read it takes 3 (or more) sessions. Good luck!

That doesn't sound like it's going to do much at all honestly. 4.5cc's is a teaspoon

Still some minor bruising, but what is most visible are purple pinprick marks at the injection sites. A little bit of makeup hides them. I haven't noticed much difference in volume.... I THINK I see a difference, but it could be in my head at this point.
I've been applying a heat pack whenever I think about it (to increase circulation to the area), and I massage my breasts when I'm in the car or in the bathroom. I really want this $5,000 procedure to be WORTH $5,000.

Hello.
Are you seeing any results?
November 23, 2020
No.... I'm extremely disappointed. I have a follow up appointment soon and I will update with how the doctor offers to make this right.

At $5,000, I really hope you get the results that Dr.Elizabeth Hernandez & her brochures told & showed you. If it doesn't work out you're gonna be out that money, like she left me. I had to go pay more money, to a different doctor, for a different procedure that actually worked.
November 23, 2020
I am so sorry to hear that. Sadly, I'm afraid that is what will happen to me. I am going to rate the doctor on her truthfulness and desire to make this right. Do you mind sharing what procedure worked for you? I'm desperate for surgical alternatives....

FINAL RESULTS: NOT WORTH IT

Emeraldharpist
Here I am, three months later, and incredibly dissatisfied with my Renuva breast "augmentation". Dr Hernandez told me that these three vials would add the plumping on the tops of my breasts that I was looking for.
I have a follow up with her soon. We will see what sort of satisfaction service she will provide. For $5,000, it would have been smarter to go with actual implants... and have a serious talk with hubby about "My body, My choice". I wanted to add maybe HALF of a cup size... again, just enough to give me a little fill on top.
Extremely disappointed.

Across all three brands, the interval volume increase varied between sizes, but not all were above 100 cc. There was some variation in the volume capacity of the same cup size among the different brands. The average incremental increase in bra cup size across all three brands in the laboratory arm was 135 cc. The mean volume increase per cup size was 138.23 cc in the clinical arm. Conclusions: This article confirms that there is no standardization within the bra manufacturing industry. On the basis of this study, patients should be advised that 130 to 150 cc equates to a one-cup-size increase. Bras with narrower band widths need 130 cc and wider band widths require 150 cc to increase one cup size.

How many cc were in each vial? Was it the 1.5cc or 3cc?

I’m sorry your results were disappointing. I’m surprised the doctor didn’t recommend a lift prior to injections.
