Starting a new review as I had some issues editing/updating my previous one...
Long story short, I'm going for a revision after 12yrs of having my old Mentor implants and developing grade III CC on one side. Hoping for a slightly more modest/natural look this time around to suit my small frame and active lifestyle, so I do not want high profile like I had the 1st surgery (left side, due to asymmetry).
Stats:
- 1m65 (5ft5) / 55kg (122 lbs); lost about 5-6 kilos since my 1st surgery
- 32 years old
- No kids (yet)
- Before 1st BA: noticeable asymmetry, right side slightly tuberous (32(US) / 85 (eur) A/B cup)
- Now 32 D / 85 D -- I'd be happy if I end up with a nice full B or C
Still undecided about the final size/profile; I am hesitating between Motiva minis (moderate) or demis (moderate plus)! My goal is to look super natural and modest, with a nice slope (no rounded upper pole) and I want to feel comfortable during physical activity (running, yoga etc) as well as lying on my stomach. I don't mind going a bit smaller than I currently am, was never a "big boobies" kind of girl :) Any feedback if you've had either minis or demis would be hugely appreciated! :) particularly in small sizes under 300cc...
Final sizing pre-op appointment is on Feb 16th, surgery on March 8th.
Here are a few wish pics of what I hope to achieve ;)

Confused and disappointed :(
Florencia21February 16, 2021
Although I was initially happy after my first consultation with my surgeon, I left my second consult today feeling a bit disappointed and frustrated. I felt like she was really pushing me to go bigger and seemed irritated when I tried to express that I wasn't happy with my current profile and I would prefer a lower profile than what I currently have (mentor high profile), she dismissed it, saying it's not up to the patient to decide, if I don't agree with what she says I can go elsewhere as she's got enough business already :( I just felt like the whole atmosphere was confrontational which stressed me out quite a bit. Oh and at the beginning she was really pushing me to go with anatomical, which I don't want either. So to sum up: I was hoping for Motiva ergonomix around 245, either demi or mini, and she said she would go for 295 full because I MUST keep the same projection, otherwise I'll end up with saggy boobs (I am 33, no kids and no sagginess at all right now. My current implants are 275, so the downsize I wanted would be about 30cc and less than 1 cm in projection.) We had a tentative date for surgery (March 8th) but I haven't yet paid the deposit, I am now thinking I should delay it to give me time to get a 2nd/3rd opinion...
any advice or experiences on a successful modest downsizing??? I am feeling really confused now

My surgeon said I can change profile but I would need to go from 280cc to 300cc I actually want smaller like you. I think I will explant and once skin has retracted if I hate the outcome I will re implant smaller

Difficult decision, isn't it? I also did consider explant at one point, but i hated the shape of my breasts before, it's mostly for that reason I got the BA in the first place: to even them out as much as possible because they looked so different from each other... not so much that I was after big boobs. I did see another surgeon in the end last week who feels comfortable going with 265 demi (moderate), so I chose him! You can check my latest update ;)

I am sorry to hear that. So what have you decided now? Probably good to get a 2nd/3rd opinion. You should feel comfortable about the decision.

I did get a second opinion in the end and felt much more comfortable with Dr Danau, that's why I decided to go ahead with him.

New date & new surgeon!!
Florencia21February 22, 2021
After my last disastrous consultation, I decided to seek a second opinion. I saw Dr Wim Danau and instantly felt more comfortable with him. He was very helpful, patient, answered all my questions and I felt like he really understood what I want. Didn't push me to go bigger and said a modest downsize is perfectly doable. He has 20 more years of experience than the female surgeon I saw, so I feel like I can trust him. In Belgium, he's known to be an excellent BA specialist. So in the end, we decided on motiva ergonomix, demi profile, 265cc L/ 230cc R.
Surgery date is set for 25 March and deposit is paid!!! :)
