Bottomed out 1 year PO

My implants bottomed out after a couple months and continued to get worse month by month. I just got a revision with another PS. My original PS wanted to charge 10,000 (which apparently was a "deal"). Very disappointing to feel like you did all the research and chose the right surgeon just to have a failed result and the surgeon not take any responsibility. Unfortunately it comes with the territory. I just had them redone. I had a capsulorraphy and galaflex mesh placed with larger new implants. It was definitely way more painful when I came out of surgery, I was surprised at the pain I was in. Revision surgery lasted 3 hours and 45 minutes. Lots of internal suturing to help support/fix my over dissected pockets. Pain was manageable later that day, once I took some pain meds, a week out I'm still uncomfortable in some spots but very happy to have them re-done. I had at least 20+ consultations all around my area (Hawaii) and the US mainland. I decided to go with Dr. Colgrove in Atlanta, GA for my revision, I am very happy with the service I received. I will be posting a review on my experience in another post. Hopefully the capsulorraphy and galaflex mesh will prevent me from bottoming out again. I finally have cleavage, still very swollen, but excited to see the final result. Here are two different photos showing pre-op through one year post-op and another picture one year post-op through right after revision. I went from Mentor Memorygel Xtra 370cc MPP to Mentor Memorygel 650cc HP with galaflex mesh and capsulorraphy. I decided to go with the regular Mentor Memorygel instead of the Xtra gel. They both have the same exact gel inside but the Xtra are 98% filled and the regular memorygel are 93% filled. The Xtra implants didn't feel soft enough for me, hopefully I don't have any rippling with the lower filled implants, I am over the muscle, I wanted to stay over the muscle and just correct the pockets. I will post a review with more photos of the revision soon to show how I am healing. Hope this helps anyone who is dealing with the same issue.

I'm currently around 4.5 months PO. My breasts are very soft compared to one month ago. I'm going to try and add some updated pictures and videos but sometimes they won't upload. Still loving my results, I do wish I had a little more projection but it isn't a big deal for me. My bra size is around a 36D possibly a DD. I find myself pouring out of the 36C push-up bra. I'm really loving sports bras, they are comfortable, provide support, and some can give really nice cleavage!

Here are some more pictures of my breasts at 3 months, before, and in-between. I forgot to state that my implants are round and smooth. I still don't have the feeling back in the bottoms of my breasts. At first it was really uncomfortable and felt so strange, but now I'm used to the feeling and it doesn't bother me. I never lost nipple sensation, I have extremely sensitive nipples and that is still the same lol. It really is amazing to see the difference 3 months makes. I will include some pictures of them in sports bras (which are my favorite) and some regular bras. The black bra has no padding (I hate padding, I always pull it out if I can) and has underwire. The white bra is padded, not pushup and has underwire.

I had a BA 7/31/2020. After just 4 months I was bottomed out. I was out of state and every virtual consultation I had I kept bringing up (kindly) that I felt my implants were sitting too low and my nipples too high. Finally at 7 months post op Dr. Alexander acknowledged that I was in fact bottomed out and told me to take vitamin C and sent me a strap in the mail to wear under my breasts to push them up. This did absolutely nothing to fix the problem, it was way too late. When I finally had the guts to say I wanted a revision (again very politely) the entire mood changed, as if I was a burden. All the sudden Dr. Alexander wasn't as happy go lucky as he was before. When I had a consultation to talk about a revision he really made the outcome seem bleak. I went to 20+ other consultations all over the US (virtual and in person where I live) and every single PS said I had been over dissected. Since this was so obviously a mistake made by Dr. Alexander you would think that I would only have to pay for the implants, anesthesia, and the surgery center costs, especially because I had issues within the first year. Nope! I was given a quote of $10,000! This was supposed to be a "deal" according to the financial coordinator. I was absolutely disappointed and couldn't believe that Dr. Alexander wasn't standing by his work. Overall, I feel Dr. Alexander is knowledgeable and will answer all your questions. He can be very kind and safety is important to him. Would I recommend him.... absolutely NOT.
