Hello! I just wanted to share my experience with my breast augmentation that was performed on 7/31/2020. I had mentor memory gel extra 370cc implants placed over the muscle. My surgeon decided that going over the muscle was the best option for my skin type and my body type. I also was coming from out of state and was only going to be in the area for one week.
The surgeon and his staff made my experience extremely comfortable, confident, and easy. Going into surgery I felt very calm due to the vast amount of information that was provided to me, and the fact that all of my questions were answered before the surgery was performed. When I woke up from surgery I was very surprised that I didn't feel any pain and I didn't feel any pressure. That was due to the numbing agents that my surgeon used, he administered lidocaine and marcaine to numb the area to help reduce pain.
I was pain free until that night, the first night was the only time I experienced uncomfortable pain where I felt I needed to use the pain medication, the pain wasn't that bad I would rate it around a 6/10. I also take methadone on a regular basis, my surgeon and my methadone doctor worked together before surgery to create a plan for me that was safe and effective. The pain medication didn't seem to do much for me but my methadone really helped to reduce the pain. The numbing agents that were used were really wonderful, the only downside is that when you have no pain you forget that you're not supposed to move your arms. Overall the surgery went really well and the staff was excellent. I was surprised that the general anesthesia seemed to have more of an effect on me than I expected, I was extremely tired and very loopy afterward, and the next day.
After surgery, my legs felt like jelly and my mother had the help me walk and get me back into bed when we got back to the hotel. Ice really helped with the pain and swelling. After surgery, I mostly slept which really helped. Sleep seemed to really help me heal and feel better. After the first night, I only took Tylenol and my regular methadone dose and used ice when I felt it was needed.
My breasts were very asymmetrical and I was really worried that they would be asymmetrical after the surgery or that my nipples would be facing different directions. I'm so happy with my results and I really can't believe how the surgeon was able to make my breasts symmetrical and have my nipples be even. Due to my left breast being a different shape than my right breast, the surgeon informed me that he was going to score the bottom of the breast tissue in order to create a pocket that would be the same shape as the right breast pocket. I am so happy with my results and I really am so happy I chose to go to dr. George Alexander. He was absolutely amazing, he really listened to what I wanted and he gave me above and beyond what I expected.
This was something I have wanted for a long time and I am in love with the outcome. Dr. George alexander was very straightforward about how large I could go and the risks of going to big. I really trusted his knowledge of breast augmentation and what would look good on me. He really went above and beyond what I ever thought I could get. I'm a little over 3 months post-op and I still am numb on the very bottom of my breasts but I never lost the sensation/feelings in my nipples.
The incisions were placed in the inframammary fold, they are healing well but they are still pretty pink. I may try and use scar ointment to help fade the incisions. I will attach pictures of my breasts before the surgery right after the surgery so on. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask!

Lovely results! Were you asymmetrical bc of TBD? I don't see any before pictures and usually when someone mentions their PS did scoring it's usually bc the PS is releasing constricted bands. Wasn't sure if that was your case. Anyway hope to see more updates/photos with your arms down straight on and before photos. Happy continued healing dear.

Thank you for the comment, I thought I uploaded my before pictures, I will see if I can upload again, I just saw that my review went through and some of my pictures aren't in there. I'm not sure if I had constricted bands, when I upload my before pictures you will be able to see the asymmetry.

I saw your other post about your implants falling too low and your nipples being too high because of it. The same exact thing happened to me and I was only 18 years old at the time so I had time speaking up. I still had to pay a pretty penny for the repair too. I had "double bubble" and it looked horrible. I got them fixed and they are fine now, but my nipples are still high. Do you like the way your boobs look now? Were they able to fix them the way you like? I'm afraid that my boobs are just built this way :(

You are lucky you are under the muscle. While I love being over the muscle it definitely isn't going to last long term and I fear in the future I will have to go under the muscle. I love my revision, but I do feel that the space between my IMF and the bottom of my areolas is still too large. I know the Dr that did my revision did an amazing job and brought my IMF to it's natural position, but I think the damage was already done during my primary BA. My areolas are way more centered now, but I do wish they were lower. I did a review on my revision and posted a bunch of pictures. I love my results but you can see my areolas sit pretty high compared to other women. I don't think it's our anatomy, granted that plays a big role in many things, I really think it's a result of bottoming out in the first place.

Here are two more pictures one picture is before surgery where you can see that my breasts were asymmetrical. The other picture is about 3 months after surgery. I tried adding more pictures from the time in between surgery to the three month mark but I'm having trouble uploading them on the website

Thank you, it's crazy to me how uneven my breasts were, and I didn't even notice it until I took my before pictures and realized how uneven they were. Dr. Alexander really did a great job IMHO lol I really do love them. Thanks

In my original post I had issues uploading all the
pictures from my healing process. I took pictures around once a week to once every two weeks and you can really see how they dropped and fluffed. Currently my bra size seems to be a 36D possibly larger. Before surgery I never wore bras, I didn't even own one. So it's taking so time getting used to wearing a bra. Sports bras have been really comfortable and provide the support I think is necessary to prevent sagging in the future. I forget to say the profile that I got was moderate profile plus. Before surgery I was very confident that was what I wanted, and I do love them, but I think down the line I would like to get high profile to get more projection!
