Lipo 360 and Breast Implant Exchange

ORIGINAL POST

Lipo 360 and Breast Implanmt Exchange

WORTH IT$9,000
3 months into quarantine I had over 25 pounds of weight gain and my saline implant ruptured. I decided to address both issues at once and began looking for a surgeon for liposuction and implant exchange. I had several consultations, Dr. Thomassen and his team were by far the most patient, knowledgeable and caring group I met with. They took their time to answer every single one of my questions (there were a lot) and I never felt rushed or pressured. Dr Thomassen has a gentle demeanor that immediately puts you at ease. I never once felt like he was trying to sell me or give me false hope. Most of the other surgeons I met with wanted to push me into silicone implants but I was completely against that idea as I just experienced a ruptured implant. Dr. Thomassen listened to me and never once tried to change my mind. Choosing him to perform my surgery was the best decision!
The surgery and recovery went even better than what was promised. Dr. Thomassen personally called to check on me the first couple of days and I had his personal cell phone number to call for any post-surgery issues or concerns. My results blew me away right from the beginning and they have only gotten better with time. My breasts are PERFECT. When we met before surgery I told him to do whatever he needed to do for the best results and I am so glad I did. If he went into this with any restrictions on size it would have changed my results completely. He knew what I wanted and made the right call to get me there. I don’t know if this is normal for implant exchanges but they weren’t even a little sore. The breast portion of my recovery was painless. The lipo recovery wasn’t too bad and my pain was managed with Tylenol. Surgery was on a Friday and I was back working (from home) that Monday.
My results just get better and better as the weeks go by. I trusted the process and listened to the doctor and it has paid off in a big way. I am so thankful to Dr. Thomassen, he has completely changed my life and given me back my confidence.

How long did you have your implants before a rupture? Any rippling issues with saline? Do they feel soft? I'm leaning toward saline for safety reasons.
They were 12 years old. I never had any rippling or issues up until the rupture. However, I not blame the saline as 12 years was a long run and I was definitely time to replace. The new implants feel just as soft as they were before but they look so much better. I am really happy I went with my gut and stayed with saline. I have 2 friends with ruptured silicone breasts right now and they only found out because of mammograms. I knew immediately when mine was ruptured. Best of luck to you!
You look great . Huge improvement. Are the new implants larger ? Hope you’re feeling well
Thank you! Yes he went a little bigger this time.
You look really good! Did you have general anesthesia? I had consulted with him and was told that he uses sedation with local anesthesia.
Thank you so much! I had general anesthesia. I would call his coordinator Michelle and ask her. I called her at least once a week with questions, she was great and made the entire process so easy.
