It's Really Happening! 5'5 130 lbs getting 400/425 cc HP

Today, thanksgiving actually, November 23 I am officially 1 month post op. I had a 3 week appointment with my surgeon a week ago on Monday November 13, 2017. He checked my incisions and told me everything looked. I was instructed to start massages 3 times a day 3 times each, start using scar cream or lotion, cleared to do any lower body exercise and light cardio, and wear any bra that keeps them pushing forward and up.
I am in no pain at all, most of the pain or discomfort kind of went away by mid week 2 or for sure by week 3. I am sleeping on my side thank goodness which is way more comfortable than the back sleeping. Since being instructed to start using scream I have been using the palmers cocoa butter formula but will be ordering vitamin e oil and biocorneum. I was ready to get out of the surgical bra so I went to Victoria Secret and got their knockout sports bra and the sexy illusions wireless bra. They don't look they have dropped much to me but overall they're doing good and I'm doing good.

I am officially one week post op today. Currently icing my boobs as I write this. Surgery day was easy, my scheduled time was 8:30 and everything went smoothly. I arrived right on time and signed in. About 10 mins later my nurse called me back and took my pressure and asked some quick questions. After that she gave me a gown, slippers to put over my socks, surgical panties, and hair cap to change into. Once changed she locked up my belongings and we went into my room where my sister was. We confirmed implant size, type, profile, and incision site and we went over post op care again. We went and took before pictures and went back to the room. My surgeon came in and marked me up all good and answered the last minute questions I had. The anesthesiologist came in a minute or two later and introduced himself and the process. (I had already spoke with him the day before so that was great) after that the nurse took me back to the operating room and it was go time! I laid down on a warm bed and the anesthesiologist talked to me and put the IV in next thing I know I'm waking up from surgery and the nurse is telling me I did great and she was going to get my sister and boyfriend. I wanted a smoothie so we stopped but I had all of 2 sips before I was asleep again and we were back home. My sister put me in bed and I slept for a few hours. The next few days my sister and boyfriend took good care of me and I barely got out of bed. Surgery was Thursday and I had an appointment Monday where the surgeon checked my incisions and the nurse changed my steri strips on the incisions.
Overall the pain is manageable. It is hard to be comfortable sleeping, that has been the hardest part. My lower back or middle back hurts a lot while sleeping upright and I have a ton of pillows and arm chair pillow thing.

I was always the girl awaiting puberty to get boobs when everyone else did. It came and went (much later might I add) and I only got A's. Hardly anything really. I am a naturally slim built person and always wanted boobs and now I'll have them!
I had a consultation with Dr. Colgrove on September 18th. I went well, I got to try on sizers and they use the 3D imaging so I saw what I would look like on screen. The staff was really nice and answered all my questions. Dr Colgrove explained the procedure and answered questions although he wasn't with me long at all. Very straight to the point.
Went on another consultation with Dr Arslanian October 3rd. His patient coordinator was very nice and shared her experience. Dr Arslanian was personable and thorough in explaining what happens. He took my measurements and answered any remaining questions. I did not try on sizers at this consultation which was disappointing but he said that is done at pre op if I chose to go with him.
After the consultation I decided to go with Colgrove. I really liked that he has done so many procedures and all his before and afters looked great. On October 3rd I booked for October 26 and paid my deposit!!!
