Get the Girls Done
I had breast augmentation surgery at Girin Plastic Surgery in February 2025, and I wanted to share my experience for anyone considering the same. I initially contacted the clinic via WhatsApp in November 2024 and received a prompt reply of the booking process. I sent over pre-op and inspiration photos. When I arrived in Korea, I was able to complete all my pre-op testing on the same day. The consultant was knowledgeable and supportive, and my English translator was there throughout the process.
Dr. Song Jae Yong was professional and direct he helped me understand what size and shape would best suit my frame and health, taking my chest diameter into account. I tried on different implant sizers, which made me feel confident in the final decision.
The surgery day went by quickly, and although I was nervous, I felt well taken care of.
Recovery was manageable pain was about 4/10 in the first couple of days, and while there was some tightness and discomfort from the pressure, it gradually subsided.
I took the prescribed medication, wore my compression band as instructed, and walked daily to help with swelling.
Two and a half weeks post-op, I started to see the implants settle (“drop and fluff”), and by the one-month mark, they were beginning to feel more natural, though still slightly firm.
I used both scar cream and silicone scar tape, and thankfully, experienced no complications.
Overall, I’m very happy with how everything turned out. The implants look proportionate to my frame, and I’m excited to see the final results as they continue to settle in the coming months. I really appreciate the care I received and would recommend Girin to others considering breast augmentation in Korea currently I am in my first month and have more to see the full results.
Additionally, Girin Plastic Surgery offers the option for a guardian to watch the surgery via CCTV, which gave me extra assurance. I heard that some hospitals may use shadow doctors, but with this option, my guardian could verify the procedure in real time. This really gave me peace of mind!
