500cc Mentor Moderate Plus Over the Muscle

WORTH IT$8,500
I had a really difficult time finding reviews from women who went over the muscle, so I felt it was important to document my results. I'll continue to add photos/videos throughout the healing process.

My Stats: 5'3 145.6 Lbs 14cm breast width
34/33/42 breast/waist/hips and glutes
Opted for 500cc Mentor Moderate Plus Silicone implants Over the Muscle

My Surgeon: it's very early in the healing process as I just had surgery today, but from what I see today I believe Dr.Corbett did an excellent job. My nipples are somewhat "East-West" so I was quite concerned about how much more noticeable that was going to be with implants. He reassured me that it wasn't at all uncommon, and that my breasts would still look great regardless. He was friendly during the consultation, and friendly when he popped in before surgery. I was confident in his abilities because I was recommended by a close friend, and he did deliver.

Staff: I have very mixed feeling about his office staff, so I will try to elaborate as best I can. I'll start by saying they are definitely friendly, they're all very beautiful, and they do have a vibe about them that makes you want to listen to them. However, this procedure was slightly over $8,000 which is not pocket change- with that I expected to feel more.. cared for and heard. I don't expect anyone to "roll out the red carpet" per se, but for the money I'm spending I definitely felt rushed in and out throughout the process. I went in understanding that "wish pics" are just that, and not to be mistaken for what my own results could be. So when I attempted to show some photos to depict a look that I liked vs things I wasn't so fond of, it was immediately dismissed and that was that. When I tried to explain that I really preferred the look of the "Moderate Plus" profile implants, I want even offered that type of implant to try on and was only given the option of high profile. Because my breast width was decently wide for my frame, and the look I desired was more about fullness and cleavage rather than projection I'm not sure why I wasn't heard out and at least offered the option to try that profile on. I felt like I had to choose a style that I wasn't entirely comfortable with, and wasn't really sure why it HAD to be that style. So I opted for what the nurse suggested, signed, and paid. When I asked about using the 3D imaging that wasn't even offered to begin with, I was told no because it isn't at all accurate. The entire "pre op/fitting" appointment took about 20 minutes, 15 of which was just signing paperwork and paying for the procedure. I left feeling a little nervous, and honestly regretful about paying so much money for an experience like that, when I could've gone to another practice and paid (slightly) less, and maybe had a more thorough experience- BUT I did trust the results my friend had, so I stuck with it.

After a few days of my gut telling me to call the office and change my selection to what I truly wanted, I did, and I am SO happy that I did. The office manager described the profile I wanted as "well, if you want a more flat look than a perky look you can certainly choose to do so" which was a little less than a desirable way to describe a product to a patient, but I went with it anyway.

Surgery day: The entire staff at the surgery center was very friendly, and their goal was to make me feel comfortable and shake off the nerves. The anesthesiologist was very to the point, but friendly and did his job well. Dr.Corbett delivered beautiful results as I knew he would, and overall I would recommend him to anyone. I would just suggest that you be firm in conveying your thoughts to the staff, and if in doubt- ask to have Dr.Corbett present to assist with discussing goals.

Can't wait to update photos as the healing process comes along! Best of luck.

Thanks for your review! I’m booked for 505cc moderate plus over the muscle in May and my body stats are similar to yours. My breast pocket is too small for under the muscle. I was kinda scared when my dr said 505cc because it sounds large but I have a wide rib cage and wide shoulders so it will look proportional. Hope you heal soon and they look amazing! I’m looking forward to your update to see what mine could possibly look like, thanks!

They’re still riding high, far apart, and swollen. Nipple sensation is 100% unaffected (thank goodness)

They’ve started to soften up just a little, and drop a smidge. My pain level is only at a 2, and most of that is in the morning after first waking up. I have pain on the sides of my breast if I reach too far, and it feels like a burning sensation. My biggest concern currently is bottoming out. Im not sure if the implants are too big for my pocket, or I’m just convincing myself something is wrong- but it does seem like the implants are dropping past the incision. No one from the office had reached out to check on me or schedule a post op, so I schedule my appointment for roughly a week out & will update more afterward.
