Wow I can’t beleive I’m starting this journey! I was the girl that never imagined ever getting implants when I was younger. I was happy with my little 32b’s. Well, pregnancy and nursing really did a damper on my poor boobs and after each child I was left with less and less. I feel like I have a boyish, preadolescent look and I am ready for a womanly figure. However, not wanting anything drastic at all. I’m looking for a conservative natural look. One that most people won’t even notice. I’m not planning on telling my family because I know they wouldn’t understand or be supportive. Also want to keep it from my kids (ages 7,5,2). I’m worried about recovery with my 2 year old...ahhh lots on my mind!
Ok so I’ve been lurking for years now but tried to convince myself to be happy with what I have. I’d go back and forth about wanting the augmentation done and my husband is just in support of whatever will make me happy and confident. It’s solely my choice I’m making and that’s what’s scary! Anyway I finally said let’s just get it done so I booked 4 consultations. I went to one referred by a friend in Newport. He’s very well known however I felt very rushed at the consultation and not once did he ask if I had any questions. Mind you this is my first consultations after thinking about this and researching it for hours. I had a ton of questions but didn’t feel comfortable to waste his time. I knew he’d do a great job because his reviews were outstanding but something didn’t sit right with me. So next I see Dr. Esmailian which I found here on RealSelf and he was local to me with great reviews and before/after photos. After meeting with him and his staff I felt comfortable right away! He spent lots of time explaining and answering all my questions. I booked the surgery That day and asked for the soonest available date which was valentine’s day (but recently got switched to the 15th). I cancelled my other two consults.
It’s only a couple weeks away and I am so excited/nervous!! I’m afraid of recovery with my 2 year old mostly since she always wants to be picked up, I’m afraid of getting capsular contracture even though my surgeon does everything to decrease the chances (Keller funnel, under muscle, I’m also leaning towards inframamory incision), I’m afraid of them being too big or assymestrical. My preop is on feb 12 just a few days before the surgery and that’s when we will discuss size. He measured my bandwidth at 12.5 and Just from seeing other people stories and trying on rice-sizers I’m thinking of going a bit over 300cc, smooth, round moderate Natrelle soft touch. But I’m very interested to see what the doctor recommends for me. Wow sorry this is so long!! Anyone in the same boat as me?? Breast augmentation with little kids? Hiding it from family? Wanting a natural conservative look? Tomorrow Ill post wish pics and my pics too (eek I’ve never done that!)

Wow, you sound like my twin!
I have the exact same measurements as you. I’m the exact same age. I have 3 kids too! Haha the exact same ages! ❤️
This has all happened really fast for me as well... my pre op was Jan. 19th and my surgery is February.20th!!! I lined everything up and all is taking care of and it’s a go. No looking back now!
First of all, I told my mom, she wasn’t that excited for me, but she old school. I basically told her I need her help with this and I need her to come stay with me for a week and help me with my youngest as I can’t lift her in and out of her crop and high chair etc......she told me she would love to help anyway she could. After my mom leaves.... after a week, I have my auntie to come over every so often and give me a break from the lifting. I read after the first week you should be okay to lift the little one as long as you do it cautiously. Hold them against your body, don’t use your pec muscles or just your arms type of thing.... squat down with your legs and lift them that way. By week three, you still need to be cautious but you shouldn’t need assistance anymore.
The day before surgery and 3 days after, I have lined my mother in law to watch my kids so I can just be alone and heal, I think the first 3 days are the worst. I haven’t told my mother in law, and I don’t think I will. I just told her my husband and I need some alone time. I got lucky and my kids have the whole week of school. She’s really conservative and I don’t think she will notice anyway. I don’t have to tell everyone what I’m doing! Haha
I’m going for a 375cc look.... under the muscle. My surgeon will use 415cc gummy bear smooth round moderate profile, because you lose some size when you go under the muscle. Not too big not too small, modest but sexy, I can dress them up or dress them down. I’m sooooo excited. I have waited for this my whole life too! I’m a 34 A and hoping be a big C small D! can’t wait! I have worn a “add 2. Up size bra” for years, I don’t think anyone will even notice to be honest.... not even my kids.... I’m only telling like 4 people.:... I’m Nervous at the same time. But it’s all said and done. 2 more weeks!

That is crazy how similar situation we are! Thanks for reaching out to me! It’s nice to know there are others in similar situations going through this too! Looks like you already have everything lined up for you aftercare! I’m so jealous!! So far all I have planned is surgery Friday feb 15. Hubby will be off Friday until maaybe Monday and taking kids to a bday party sat so I have one day to myself. Then after that he can do drop off at school and I’m pretty much on my own with the 2 year old. I’m trying to train her to walk more and learn how to climb in and out of her car seat. Or else I’ll just hide at home for the first two weeks. I hope it all works out

Hi ladies I’m also in the same boat as you both! It’s so reassuring to connect with others going through the same and feeling the same. I have 2 kids 4 & 2 years old and I’m also worried about caring for them. I also have a very busy husband who isn’t supportive of the operation and not able to help out either. Lucky for me though we live in Dubai and have a live in Nanny/Helper. I know I can fall back on her for help around the house but I’m very hand on with my children (they’re mine lol) and so I feel self conscious/guilty about my husband seeing me unable to care for our girls especially since it’ll be from a result of me choosing to have an operation to give me bigger boobs lol. I think I’m worrying more about this than the operation! My main concern is if my 2 year old wakes up in the night. She won’t settle with my husband and don’t really want to ask my helper to sleep in the spare room for the 1st few nights in case she does wake up. Mamma3timesover what a great idea to go away completely for 3 days!
February 9, 2019
Oh I also wanted to ask you both how you’re planning on hiding the recovery and what you’re planning on saying to friends/family? I’ve stared to wear my biggest baddest padded bra more and I’m looking for a very modest outcome so kinda hoping no one notices size wise but I’m very active and strong and work out at the gym at few times a week etc. I’m wondering what to say as to why I’m not driving and asking friends to bring my daughter home from school for that 1st week and not doing my usual boxing class etc for 6 plus weeks!
February 11, 2019
Doobyboobies I feel exactly how you do! recovering with the little ones and hiding it from others is almost worrying me more than the actual procedure lol. My 2 year old sometimes wakes at night as well so I already warned my husband he’ll have to get her out of the crib. Since we’ll be having to sleep upright the first few nights I figured she can still lay on my lap to go back to sleep. I hope it works out. If your 2 year old is still in the crib you may need you helper for the first week or two. That’s really awesome you have her! I also started wearing my biggest bras around and even at the gym since that’s where I’d be the flattest (In a sports bra). I had to tell my gym buddy since she’d be asking me about working out. I was nervous but she was actually very supportive and happy for me. She actually told me I don’t have to tell others since it’s not their business but if they ask just say My shoulder is bothering me and doctor said I can’t lift baby. I’d prefer not to lie to people but if they are asking for an explanations I may go with that story lol. My shoulder does bother me sometimes so it’s not completely false. I’ll be missing a family bday party as well as other classes so I plan on just telling them I’m not feeling well/sick, etc.
February 11, 2019
Yes good plan regards the night waking. My daughter woke up 3 times last night and has projectile vomited everywhere today which has really made me pray it doesn’t happen the 1st few weeks after surgery! Grrr imagine
February 11, 2019
Not sure where the rest of my message went! I had wrote about being in agreement with the shoulder story and that id heard of a lady who said she’d broken a rib lol. A fake injury would also buy us a little bit more time to ease back into the gym under the radar! Oooh it feel strange being so sneaky!!!
February 11, 2019
Omg my daughter vomited last night too!! All over her crib and her hair/face. Hoping they are well while we need to be recovering.
February 12, 2019
Oh no poor baby! They just seem so little and helpless when they’re ill don’t they.
February 11, 2019
My kids are sick too!! Lol oh well better now then when we are recovering!!
As for feeling like you need an excuse for the no lifting and no driving and no gym..... I don’t feel one bit bad about fibbing! Lol I’m gonna tell everyone I threw my back out!!
It’s the dead of winter here where I’m from..... like -30..... so I don’t have a problem hiding while I recover in big sweatshirts and coats..... by the time they drop it should be spring.
Try to let yourself heal and let your helpers help you! You didn’t wait this long and spend this much money to mess anything up
February 12, 2019
Good point!! And geez it’s freezing there. Where are you from? I’m here complaining about 50 degree weather I can’t even imagine!! Sorry your kids are sick too
February 12, 2019
All of us with sick kids!! You’re totally right about not feeling bad for fibbing this is for me and I need to remember that, it’s got nothing to do with anyone else has it?! And Ok so shoulder, ribs and a thrown back... I can totally make one of those work for me too hahaha.
-30 is pretty brutal but great for hiding new boobies! My climate will be going to the other extreme. From April onwards the weather starts to get really hot and by June is unbearable so we’re inside most of the time with cold AC. I’m hoping to wear T-shirt’s most of the time so at least my chest and my new cleavage is covered. Oooh I’ve never had to cover a cleaver before how exciting!!

I have a wedding 12 days after my surgery, do you think I’ll be okay for it? Do I still have to wear that special bra? Surgery isn’t till March 5th, wedding is March 16th.

February 22, 2019
@mommyof2... You're golden to make it to the wedding at day 12. You may want to wear a thin, wireless yet supportive sports bra or a wireless plunge bra that's supportive so gravity won't make you feel uncomfortable. At day 12 you'll almost feel normal-ish.
February 22, 2019
Yeah you can totally go! Yes you’ll have to wear either the surgical bra or one that has no wire and isn’t so tight fitting

Wish pics

I am attaching my wish pics. Most of them go from an A cup to a C. I am looking for a natural conservative look like these results. Probably in the 300-350 range. Looking forward to my appointment next week to review and finalize a size with my surgeon!

Have you posted any pics of what you look like now? You would get much better opinions from others that are of similar stats so you can gain better knowledge going into your appointment. Best to ask your PS what would look the most natural depending on your BWD & your overall proportions. The implants are usually picked mainly in conjunction with your BWD then to the size or CCs. It will really help you to find & screenshot some before/after pics from this forum as closely as you can to match your current vs your wish look. It does truly help. Also they like to see what is too big & too small in your opinion - those before/after pics on here can do that for you too. On wish pics it's good to go into your consult with some model type pics of what you really like so they know what look you are going for.

Preop today and decided on implant!
mommyof3needboobsFebruary 12, 2019
Office called to see if I could come in tonight instead of tomorrow for my prepop. I arranged a sitter and made it happen because I couldn’t wait for this appointment! We decided on 345cc smooth moderate profile soft touch Natrelle implants. Ahhhhh I can’t wait! I feel really good about the size! I tried on 400cc, 350cc, and 300cc sizers. I was uncomfortable with the 400cc look on me. The 300cc looked like how I look with my bra on. I would be happy with it too since that’s how I’d look without a bra ...but the 350 was a tad bigger and I felt just as comfortable in it too. I hear you lose 10-15%of volume with the implant in and under the muscle so I’d figure a bit bigger is perfect. If I wanted any more
Volume the doctors assistant said I’d have to go high profile and prob get the Natrelle responsive gummy instead to get the natural look I wanted (less upper pole volume). Not needed since I was happy with the 350cc. Doctor said I have a rib on my right breast that protrudes more than my left which may affect the look of the implants so to correct it I may have to have differing cc’s (330cc and 345cc) but he will decide during surgery. Just 4 more days!!! I was going to buy a neck pillow and ice packs but he said no heat or ice and just need two pillows to incline myself a little bit more. What helped you guys with recovery? Any recommendations?? Im attaching photos of me with and without sizers

So exciting, the 350’s look great on you! My Dr advises his patients to take arnica for 1 week pre-op to help with bruising and to stop multi Vits to help with bleeding?!! Makes no sense to me but that’s what he said. And I read pure Aloe Vera to hell with scaring is fab. Good luck! Can’t wait to hear more and see pictures!
