After losing ~80 lb and nursing two children, my breasts needed serious help. I thought about getting a BA many times before but it wasn’t until I saw a 3D image of what I’d look like that I finally but the bullet. At 5’11 with ample hips, it was so hard to find anything that fit me right. Dresses and bathing suits were impossible, which is already difficult with my height. I just wanted my body to look more proportional and fill in the extra skin on my breasts. I was super nervous as I've never had any surgery. I’m so surprised I went through with it. The staff and surgeon were wonderful but my recovery was awful compared to other experiences I’ve heard. We may have determined that my horrible recovery may be attributed to having been in Wellbutrin at the time. The pain meds didn’t even touch my pain, even when the doctor prescribed more potent analgesics. I eventually stopped taking the meds because they just constipated me and didn’t help the pain at all. I was very sad and disappointed for several weeks after as I was in unbearable pain and they were very high for a long time which looked ridiculous. Now that they are settled I feel like I can offer a realistic review of my results. I have been loving trying on new clothes and bras and just feel like my body looks more proportional now. I was worried that the size of the implants would make all my clothes too small, but I pretty much still wear the same size in most tops, which is great! I was a 34B and now I am a 34G which sounds absurd but I don’t feel like they look crazy due to my height and build. I originally wanted to do 350cc but my doctor convinced me to do 475 based on my size and I’m so happy I took her recommendation. I think I’d have been disappointed if I went smaller. I wish I’d taken more progress photos but I will share what I have.

Four months post op

Here are the girls four months post. Definitely very soft and seem to be settled into place finally! I was able to comfortably wear a low cut shirt this weekend and for once wasn’t embarrassed! I just want to give hope to those who are taking longer to drop. I would read this forum and feel like I was so far behind and that they would never drop. Just takes some of us longer.
