Breast Augmentation with 285cc Sientra Smooth Round Moderate Plus Silicone Implants
WORTH IT
I have been wanting BA for at least 10 years. I had our fourth child 18 months ago and decided this was the right time to finally move forward. I have spent countless hours researching pros, cons, "breast implant illness", and plastic surgeons, implant brands, sizes and shapes. I have a HUGE desire to keep my breast augmentation as natural looking as possible. I made consultation appointments with two plastic surgeons after deliberating over the profiles and patient reviews of at least 10: Dr. Daniel Barrett in Beverly Hills and Dr. Michael Schwartz in Westlake, CA.
My first consult with Dr. Schwartz was everything I expected. He was so confident and professional, everything I wanted from a surgeon. I showed him a picture from his website of a before and after of one of his patients that I liked. He helped guide me towards a realistic expectation of implant sizing. My vectra image was significantly smaller than the "wish pics" I showed him and after leaving the initial consult I was forced to realize that to achieve the look I wanted I would have to consider larger sized implants.
Before my second consult with Dr. Barrett I researched both surgeons, where they received their training and I verified their licenses. I poured over their websites and patient reviews. Ultimately, I was fortunate enough to find my surgeon right off the bat. I loved that Dr. Schwartz has enough experience that my surgery and outcome would be predictable and he brought a lot of energy and charisma and just the perfect amount of confidence to my consultation that he won my loyalty. I called and cancelled my appointment with Dr. Barrett and scheduled the surgery with Dr. Schwartz.

Vectra Before and “Afters”
I went into my first consultation with Dr. Schwartz on October 14th. I tried on the sizers and was just really overwhelmed by the cc’s and not wanting to stray into the realm of what would look “fake.” He explained that to achieve what I wanted, I might not be happy with 190cc implants I chose in the computer simulation. He encouraged me to find 3 photos of the look I what I wanted.

Wish Pic
This is my wish pic and I cannot explain how ecstatic I will be if Dr. Schwartz magical skills can produce something similar on my body!

Thank you for sharing your experience and thought process along the way! How has recovery been so far? Would you be willing to include photos?
