2 weeks post op!
Had my two week appointment today and got the bandages removed from my Incision sites. Everything is healing well. I am still pretty swollen in my back/hips from Lipo. Doctor Galardi reassured me that it was normal and to not stress- he said swelling will come and go in the next few weeks and will look much better at the 6-8 week mark! Trying to be patient but also really anxious to see the results. I am not cleared to work out, he suggested waiting another 2-4 weeks. And even then, I need to be sure to wear a supportive bra and high waisted compression leggings. I can’t wait to go back to the gym, not being active is so hard!! I will start my scar cream in a week. He also said I can move to my secondary garnments and only wear them at night starting at week 3. I’m excited to be able to dress normal and show off my new tatas!! Overall I’m super happy so far. My boobs look and feel great, And I love the size I chose! can’t wait to see the end results of everything.
5 day’s Post Op
Today is day 5! Feeling a little better each day. I’ve weaned off most the pain medicine, unless I get uncomfortable in which case I take some Tylenol. I get lots of shooting pain up my back if I move the wrong way, or when I first get up. Breasts are healing nicely. I already love them, yet they still don’t feel like my own. I can’t wait to play with them!! Lol I am so over this compression garnment I have to wear. Hopefully at my two week appointment I can move into something more comfortable. I still have a significant amount of swelling/bruising on my back side. But the incisions have started itching really bad which tells me they are healing. Really trying to stay up on my water intake as well. So happy I went with the 500’s, I feel like they fit my body perfectly!
Check up appointment!
Today was my check up appointment, everything looks great! I was able to come home and shower, thank god. My breasts look much better than I anticipated- I thought they’d be very pointy but they’re not. And I have much less bruising on my back than I thought I would. I can’t wait until the swelling goes down so I can see the results from the Lipo! Trying to stay in bed as much as possible without going crazy. Pain is manageable and getting better. I go back in two weeks to get sutures removed.
