UPDATE
So to update and answer few questions. I am healed my left breast is partially missing due to the whole obviously will not grow back it only healed from inside out. I was not aware of how thin my skin was I had no complications with my breast I always wore a bra or supported them. I took my bra off one day to shower and I thought I saw a blood blister but I couldn’t get it to pop so I left it alone and went on with my day. Day 2 what I thought was a blister was getting bigger. I kept an eye on it but didn’t really think I was in any danger. Day 3 it had become the size of a quarter or bigger I then noticed it needed a bandage. Day 4-5 it was still getting bigger so at this point I contacted my surgeon from Maryville IL they said it’s implant exposure and they immediately had to be removed the cost was outrageous $6,000 so I thought I would wait a bit to see if it would heal only to find out that waiting made the rip get the size of a golf ball and was tearing my skin by the implant pushing against it. I had no other choice but to search for an ER that could help me explant which was St John’s in Springfield IL the cost was only about $2,000 so was a lot cheaper than the surgeon I spoke with. I had 5 breast surgeries plus the explant my tissue just wore thin overtime I believe and I pushed my limit. I am a little disappointed that I have part of my breast missing but I am happy they are out. I will not be having another surgery due to this.
September 26th I had to have emergency implant removal, I had implant exposure on the mid-lower half of my left breast.
I had implant exposure on the mid-lower half of my left breast. It was the size of a dime and overnight ripped/tore to the size of a half dollar and was getting worse by the minute. I had a tiny bit of infection but thanks to St. John’s Hospital I am safe! They removed my implants as I went to the ER they sent me for immediate surgery within a few hrs! You are an amazing team!!
Happy 4th of July 2020
