Congrats! I'm bummed, on 3rd breast aug doc wouldn't go higher than 650cc & didn't do internal bra. Regrets on my surgeon selection

A lot of doctors refuse to go bigger on patients and say you have to come back! I would of found a different surgeon because there are a couple out there that are willing to give you what you want! I made several mistakes but my last ba I wasn’t settling for no. Dr. Revis is an amazing human being and a very intelligent surgeon!!

Yes next round when I'm up to dealing with another b.a., I'll strongly consider Dr. Revis, keep seeing good things on here about him. Your b.a. is definitely inspirational!

Well thank you! Dr Revis is a very intelligent man!! I can tell you from experience he has got to be the most kind hearted person I’ve ever met. Very upbeat! It’s a little more expensive but well worth it. I noticed Florida anesthesiologists that he has surgery with have a set rate for him. It’s like $475 I have always had to pay around $2,000 just for anesthesia. Crazy!

I got 1500cc implants from Dr Revis years ago (I was 19, I am now 27), and for the record, I had no breasts at all naturally and only had 420cc teardrop implants at the time done by a French surgeon not even a year prior. And yet Dr Revis managed to fit 1500cc in me! 7 year later, they still look amazing. So any surgeon that pretends they can't fit a certain size because your body won't allow it is either not good enough or only after getting more money from you!

Did you do the internal bra

I have capsolurrophy for my gap and Internal Bra to support them. They were heavy at first because I was very swollen but they are starting to feel pretty good now I am 12 days PO

Thank you! I’m so nervous about the pain with internal bra. Plus I am a gym nutt and wondering how long I’ll have to wait to lift again.

I have had multiple surgeries including a TT w/ muscle repair. I am also a gym rat 6 days a wk me and my hubby goes! Idk if it’s the internal bra or capsolurrhaphy but the pain was almost unbearable for the first 3 days! I took alot of pain pills needless to say. But I am 12 days PO now and I have a little bit of pain but it’s not that bad I take ibuprofen and tylenol. My back is sore from sleeping upright putting pressure on my coccyx, I am a fetal position sleeper... It’s worth it because my results so far are phenomenal DR. Revis leaves me speechless he is that amazing!! Lifting I quit doing chest exercises a long time ago when I got my 1st BA there’s no need for it you won’t be able to see any muscle definition through your implants and the bodybuilders who do with implants look double chested lol. So I don’t do them. Everything else I just listen to my body and take my time even if it’s a yr I don’t want to hurt myself and throw away $$$$$$ jeopardizing my results.

Omg thanks girl!! Can’t wait to see what your look like in 3 months :) I will post my journey as well lol I go in July 3rd 2019

Idk if you are familiar with Florida however we stayed at the Hampton INN it’s super close to Dr. Revis office and the surgery center. If I would of searched I would of gotten the hotel that sets on the beach! The Hampton INN is also super close to the beach! Good luck can’t wait to see your review!!

Hi, they look amazing! Hope the healing process goes well! I'm getting 1500cc silicone this year, and I'm a bit afraid of the size, can you tell me your height? Thank you for your review, it's really helpful ;)
User Avatar
May 21, 2019
First off I work out like heavyweights so my body is kinda bulky lol I am 5’3” I had siliconefor a long time and they didn’t give me the fake look at 800cc they still looked natural. I am curious where you getting 1500 silicone in the US? Are you getting internal bra? I would suggest it because they aren’t extremely heavy but 3-4lbs will start to sag I would think.
July 2, 2022
You can get 1500 cc silicone? I thought 800 cc was the highest in silicone?
May 21, 2019
Thank you for you answer. I'm from France, and here in Europe you can have custom made silicone implants. I'm 6"2, and very broad too as i like to lift heavy weights too ;). Your review is really helpful, because it shows that the size will not be too big for me. I posted a question about internal bras and XL implants, Dr Pousti answered that those implants sizes doesn't automatically calls for internal bras. Hope i can trust him, as i will not get one!
User Avatar
May 21, 2019
Your saying they automatically put one in? Dr pousti is in the US. I would ask your ps and tell him you want the internal bra and see if he specializes on it because there are very few surgeons who are successful with it, that’s why everyone goes to Dr Revis from ALL across the globe!!
May 22, 2019
From my point of view, after reading the answers, an internal bra is only necessary when the implants are displaced, so they aren't automatically put one in. You apparently need one only if problems occurs. We have to trust the surgeons and hope for the best!

I understand your thinking, however I had implants that fell into my armpit and a very wide gap for cleavage. I had 2 board certified plastic surgeons telling me there was NOTHING wrong!! They didn’t have the experience behind them I never settled for that answer I went years with this problem until I called Dr. Revis he immediately knew what was wrong it was exactly what I had been reading about! And yes my 800cc at the bottom were very round ad no upper pole I had nothing to support the implants to keep them where they should be. I just wanted you to know this information. I have went through 3 BA before I finally went outside the box and finally I got the look I want. A lot of heartache and pain and $$$$$$. I will follow your progress!

BTW I am 5’3” 145lbs (pretty muscular) I never had a doctor ask me my stats to fit the implants to me.. I showed Dr. Revis my wish picture and he made me look exactly like the picture!
May 22, 2019
To be honest, i’m worried about the fact that my surgeon does not want to considerate the internal bra as an option for my first XL implants.I met Dr Plovier in Belgium, who si really well known for XL breast augmentations here in Europe ,and he has not talked about internal bras during the consultation we had, even when he told me that my figure can easily fit 2300cc implants. i really hope they know what they do !
User Avatar
May 24, 2019
I would definitely check into it and if not maybe keep looking until you find someone who specializes in XL implants with internal bra because I feel like the outcome would be heartache I know how that feels and wouldn’t wish it on anyone. So maybe look up Dr Pousti he’s in California or Dr Revis Ft Lauderdale Florida, which I can vouch for him 1,000% he can get the job done! He knows his stuff and specializes specifically in that field. Don’t settle for anything like I did you will regret it and end up spending more money in the end. Dr Don Revis does FREE consultation through email send him pictures of you and send wish pics with detailed info on what results you want to achieve, and he will tell you exactly what you need!!
May 24, 2019
I know you are right, i will post some photos to Dr Revis. Unfortunately it's not possible for me , financially to go to the US to get my surgery. If Dr Revis answer my question, it can be really useful for me to question my surgeon about this. He is a really renowned surgeon here in France, but I don't really know if he is used to do XL breast augmentations. Thank you for your advices ;)
User Avatar
May 24, 2019
Your very welcome, I wouldn’t recommend going to anyone who doesn’t have experience in XL just because it could be dangerous and it’s much more satisfying knowing that the surgeon specializes in XL! Good luck I wish you the best!

I do not have any numbness only a small amount of bruising and I had 2 tini tiny blisters they already healed. Dr said it’s just from my skin stretching.

Had my butt implants removed and I kept them as well.
User Avatar

They are kinda sticky lol I wasn’t aware of that I think I’m going to seal them up some how! Lol
User Avatar
May 22, 2019
I just keep em in a ziplock bag. Probably throw them away one day but I needed to see them after all the grief they caused me.
User Avatar
May 22, 2019
Absolutely, the reviews I have read about butt augmentation are not good. 9 out of 10 are a failure within the first 6months. Would be great if bbl lasted. I would definitely make a run to sign up lol. The bad outweighs the good so I’m out!
User Avatar
May 22, 2019
I didn’t know that 9 out of 10 statistic. It seems like Stanton’s patients are all happy as clams after. I’m just happy I didn’t do it again.its so uncomfortable.
User Avatar
May 22, 2019
Idk if it’s statistically speaking however every patient I have read on here RealSelf has a very high level of patience saying they are getting another butt augmentation because the first procedure didn’t work and then they don’t like the 2nd either lol I feel like it’s bad outcome! Just my opinion.
User Avatar
May 23, 2019
Yea, I agree with you. That’s why I didn’t do it a second time. Was going to do a bbl with removal but was like “that’s not going to fix the issue I had before implants or after” so I started looking into LBL.
User Avatar
May 24, 2019
I looked at your review! Yea it seems like that was your only option to get back to normal, it looks great! Are you happy with the results?
User Avatar
May 24, 2019
I’m delighted with my results. I’m a big ol baby when it comes to all this. I never doubted that Dr Fisher would deliver. I just loathe healing. I think psychologically this recovery has been harder for me because my implants already took so much from me. I just want my life to start again and I regret not doing this sooner.

I know exactly how you feel I had BA in November 2018 and then again May 8th 2019 I feel drained and I am super excited that I finally received the results I have always wanted and I don’t have to do this again!

These implants were replaced with bigger saline implants I wanted to keep my silicon so the PS let me!
User Avatar
July 28, 2019
Are the inside of the gummy implants full silicon in the photo ? I have saline and silicons shell 465cc's.
User Avatar
July 28, 2019
Yes they are silicon, I didn't really see much difference in the regular silicon & Gummiest silicon neither one kept its shape like saline! Which if I would had known that I would of never got silicon. I really like the saline implants a lot better!
User Avatar
July 28, 2019
As you can see in the photo there is a lot of ripples in the top and you can literally squish the implant in your hand as of saline you can't. They keep there shape
User Avatar
July 29, 2019
Oh ok... I see the ripples on the top in the picture. I always wonder, (in the back of my mind), what happens if silicon implants ever ruptured. And I think that's another reason why I prefer saline filled implants. Did you have any more pain post op after waking up to the (post op) compared to each implant surgery after?
User Avatar
July 30, 2019
This last surgery I did because I had internal bra and capsolurrhaphy. But the 2 previous were not bad
User Avatar
August 5, 2019
How long did you need the internal bra?
User Avatar
August 6, 2019
Internal bra is permanent, capsolurrhaphy is making breast pockets smaller to put implants in the correct place.
User Avatar
August 11, 2019
Thank you. I didn't know there was a procedure to make breast pockets smaller. I will ask my doctor about my options when I see him in September. I have a feeling that my insurance company will deny any claim relating to implants. Fingers crossed. Thanks again for your review, replying and answering my questions.
User Avatar
August 14, 2019
Your welcome, I would get the money up because insurance doesn't pay for cosmetic surgery.
User Avatar
August 19, 2019
Will insurance companies deny the surgery to take out the implants due to pain?
User Avatar
August 19, 2019
I wouldn't think so, you would probably have to have a physician say that's the reason for getting them removed and then the physician might have to refer you to the PS just so it all looks good on paper. but don't quote me on that.
User Avatar
August 24, 2019
It's a complex thing. If I can walk around with my hands holding my implants up then I will be fine. My friend and I were talking at the pool and she reminded me that we've had kids and bodies change. I had my implants done 17.5 years ago-wow! She suggested that I get fitted for a bra to make sure I am wearing the right size. She did and it made a major difference for her.
User Avatar
September 22, 2019
She may be correct in some sense, however they have advanced implants since you have gotten them so exchange and a lift may be necessary to go bra-less and still have phenomenal results!
