Hey dolls! If you’re reading this, let me start by encouraging you to contact this doc! I have worked in surgery for many years and this man literally took my breath away. Three thing blew me away:
1. Honesty- You’re going to meet a lot of doctors throughout your consultation process (hopefully you’ve chosen to see multiple doctors) and many will tell you all the sunshine and butterflies of surgery and outcomes. However, when it comes to the harder questions the uncertainty begins. This was not the case with Dr. Wolfe. He was very upfront about making sure I understood what my results would be. I Have a more complicated case where I’m concerned about shape more than size. Many doctors have claimed they can give me a “close result” but Dr. Wolfe has so much experience that he basically painted a portraits for me.
2. Diverse portfolio- He knows the product. If you’re going in for an BA he doesn’t just use one type of implant. His office offers several sizes, shapes, textures and profiles. Now, you’re probably thinking duhhh they all do. Actually, they don’t! Many stick to a particular manufacturer. Dr. Wolfe will introduce you to your options and even tell you the evidence based research and outcomes Associated with each implant. It might seem like a little detail but it’s majorly important. Having the correct fit and type can add years to the longevity of the implant keeping them soft and in place.
3. Outcomes- Dr. Wolfe has a ridiculously low rate of capsule contracture. He also offers to revise anything that goes wrong with the implant or surgical complications with no cost to the patient. That’s impressive guys. He could easily make money off of instances where things go wrong, but hes more concerned with patient safety. This also reflects on his integrity to want his work to be of the highest standards. I guess I know why he came so highly rated lol
Personally, I’m putting a pause on my surgery. He recommended a full lift and aug. I had only really budgeted for a BA. I’ll have to save up that extra 3k. I will certainly update this as I continue on this journey.
